Yeah, they were super quick on this one. I was expecting a 10 day heads up email like with Spartan. Glad I had the cash in the account to cover him.

 

I hope this line doesn't die out. Its super super cool.

 

Last few MT releases they have been one of the first to get them.

 

yeesh that kit doesn't really do it. It doesn't appear to easily match any deco of the Cyclonus mold. should have just done a new figure.

If anyone just wants the kit I'd throw in for Tailgate, but I assume a lot of people are like me.

Pretty much. Gonna look great with my BiS.

I'm happy with my Shapeways head from 3dprintron, but I'm psyched about those thigh armor pieces, and perhaps the new hands as well. Now I just need my shipping notice... C'mon, BBTS.

That looks really good! Does it help Cyclonus' alt-mode to hold together better than it did before? (I always found the legs to be loose in alt-mode.)

 

Bring on the wave of video reviews to help with the wait.  

Seems like at this point all the stock they received has been assigned either to pre-orders or new orders placed right after the in-stock announcement, but they're still expecting another shipment.

 

Rearend is a neat little dude. Highly articulated, and looks like he jumped out of the comic book. Transformation is pretty good, too, for such a small toy. (This designer is a genius, IMO. Can't wait for his OFFICIAL Machine Robo figures.)

The Cyclonus add on is just okay. I'm not sure I like the face, but it IS comic accurate. The hands and sword holder are neat, though. The hip skirts look cool, but hinder forward movement of the legs.

 

Looks great. Will buy in 2016. Wish the Cyclonus head came with an extra full replaceable horn for more options on the helmet.

It is pretty tight... and admittedly, stupid of Maketoys.

Some twisting will get it in there.

 

So I'm searching eBay for a classics Cyclonus so I can use this kit. I can't pass this set up it just looks too good. I am such a plastic addict

 

Only two complaints about this set: no option for two-horned Cyclonus head, and no mask vents on Tailgate's face. Everything else is perfect.
