Finally had a moment to transform and pose this guy. the feet were tricky and I think its the way the assembler left the heals in place. once I got past that, the rest was easy. Feels sturdy but not unnecessarily heavy. Love the colors, detail and articulation. Posed him with the other figure I had handy and it scales great with the maketoys headmasters. Great job on the design and execution.

Mine should arrive any day now.

Has anyone experienced any lack of further updates for USPS Priority 2day tracking on items that shipped out just before Thanksgiving?

He has arrived! So first of all, the box from Uncle Billy was beat to hell, and the front of Andras' box is all creased. So that sucks.

But this figure does not! Holy cow is he awesome. I am in no way a Scourge fan, but I was pretty pumped because he looked pretty awesome in photos. And he's even more awesome in hand!

So the bad...I've got the same stress marks on the thumbs others have reported. The fingers are otherwise solid though. The eyes don't light up very well, as you can see in the photos. The feet were a nightmare, but I figured out it was because they were mistransformed to begin with. Once I moved them into the right position they were pretty easy to pull out of their hole. So watch out for that if it's not making sense. Someone posted a photo a few pages ago of how they should look folded up inside the calf. The rear cones on the engines fall out easily...in fact two of them fell out when I took him out of the box but I had no idea what they were for! So they're missing in the shots below! Didn't figure it out till halfway through the transformation. I really wish there was more articulation in his neck. He really needs some up/down movement.

For the good...umm, everything else! The metallic blue is so nice. A lot like Tracks. I just love that faint sparkle! He feels so solid. There were some tight parts during the transformation but I wasn't really worried about breaking or scratching anything like with Apollyon. I really have no idea what the complaints about the plastic quality are, he feels great to me. But I'm no connoisseur.

Someone asked about clear Decepticon logos. The waterslide logo doesn't work as well as some other figures because it goes on the dark part of the purple...it would pop a lot more on the light blue. But with the right lighting it still looks really good.

Overall, this guy is so badass. Highly highly highly recommend!

Mine arrived the other day - finally got to mess with it.

Doesn't feel as heavy as Apollyon but it's real nice overall. I love his fingers! The little Fracas guy he comes with scales pretty well with the MP cassettes so he's hanging out with Rumble and Frenzy. Andras / Scourge himself is great - sturdy but not heavy, the plastic feels light but I don't feel like it'll break easily either. He does lack some head movement but otherwise, it's spot on. No stress marks / beard issues with mine. Have not bought / installed batteries yet.

Got this guy today and he's very cool. The feet are a pain in the ass though and like the above poster said, they're mistransformed out of the box. I have a feeling you could get down the intricacies of getting them out fairly easily if you messed with it a few times, though you'd still be liable to forget once he's been on the shelf for a bit. This is one part of his transformation that I really wish they had addressed.

I transformed this guy while sitting on my couch and lost one of the little blue pieces, which I fortunately found after quite a bit of searching. Those things fall out very very easily. Gonna put a little spot of superglue on them.

Overall though I'm happy with him. His ratchets feel really good and everything holds well. This figure is definitely a step up from Apollyon and overall I think this company is moving in the right direction. Aesthetically he's perfect, though I'm still gonna keep an eye out for what FT comes up with.

Did anyone who ordered from Uncle Billy get the Apollyon replacement shoulders? I did not and am wondering what the deal is with that.

I meant to mention that in my writeup. I didn't get the shoulders either. My Apollyon has been ok since I futured him and hadn't tried the extra shoulders he came with, so I'm not terribly bothered, but I would've liked the option! He did come with a little blue Apollyon piece that says mace connector, but not really sure what it does. I never used the mace.

So is this figure worth getting guys?? Or do those of you who have him recommend that we should wait for the Fans Toys version later?

I like him alot. But I've always been in the "bird in the hand" camp - I like this, so I bought it. I like Fans Toys stuff too, but this looked like it just walked off the cartoon. That's what I like. So if Fans Toys shows up and blows this one away, maybe I sell it and get theirs - but I didnt want to WAIT, then this sells out, and then suddenly what if Fans Toys version sucks? I'm happy with this one.

    Good man.

I especially like his "final thoughts" portion, where he sums up the merits (or demerits) of the figure in a way that parallels my own thinking.

I don't always agree with him but I can't find fault with the thought process he took to arrive there, especially with Andras. For him, it's going to be a "sweep" vs. Scourge, which will be the FT version for him. And I get that logic. It's not hateful. But I have personally found that other companies are more "accurate" than FT when it comes to aesthetics and that is quite important to me.

So for me, this Andras is MP Scourge.

Love this figure! So much I have a 2nd coming. But I just broke the rear end on my mustang so I can only keep one. Selling this one if anyone is interested? He is in the sales thread. No issues with this one. No stressed thumbs or missing parts. Painted eye's really set him off imo. Gonna do the same with the rest.
