That's nice and menacing looking. Looks like a real predator eat the weaklings animal.

Oh, I see. There's two different figures. A shark type and Big Bite. I like big bite.

 

this may be the first TFC toy that I will fully enjoy, long as it's the size of Oridin, Feral Rex, Dinocombiner then i'll be in to support this

 

At first I wasn't a big fan of Seawing and Overbite, but I was willing to deal with it because "Seacons."

But this "Bigbite" looks terrible. The head is puny, the left hand, (why just one hand?) looks awful, and the beast mode arms are glorified T-rex arms.

The only thing I will compliment is the tail and the translucent pieces. I think they will look great on the final product. I'm not buying a $100 figure for a tail though.

 

Uh...it's pretty obvious Skalor's holding a gun. He doesn't have one hand.

 

I'm sure he's referring to the fact that all of these guys have one open hand and one closed hand.

And the closed hand looks terrible compared to the open hand.

 

I didn't think I needed to specify that there are two hands.

But yes, this is exactly what I am referring to. One hand looks good, the other looks terrible.


Edit: And going back and checking, you're right. They all have one open and one closed. What a terrible design choice. I'll follow the development to see how these guys turn out, but I'm officially off the fence about these ones.

 

That's why I'm more intent on getting Liokaiser. Hands are not messed up at all.

 

My Toyworld Throttlebots have mixed hands like that on some. .. doesn't bother me one bit. These are meant to go more with CHUG scale anyway. .. I'm excited for these!

I will probably never really have these guys in Bot Mode. I guess because I never really bothered to put my G1 Seacons in Bot Mode either, but that was because the Alt Modes were for the most part, better than Bot Mode. If they can get the colors right and make them look like this, I will be happy.

 

While those are great digibashes, TFC's teased palette is missing most of those colors.  



No magenta, no pale lavender, no black. But instead extra, subtley different shades of purple and blue, in addition to the "main" ones? "Decepticon Purple" especially shouldn't come in two versions---it's only used on one of the six members!

 

^Those look really nice, the colors and hues are well thought out so they don't look girly.
But this is tfc and these will never look like that.

 

Piranacon isn't girly, he's the very definition of 1988 colors/fashion. He's like the toy version of Miami Vice or something.

Regardless----magenta is like his main accent color, you can't eliminate that. It'd be like taking the purple away from Skywarp. It's used in 4 members, it's the leader's main color(in bot mode at least) and it's used in the combiner kibble.

TFC = Totally False Colors  

 

Yeah, I actually used photos of the G1 figures and sampled the colors with the color picker tool in PS. So, I don't think the colors can be any more G1 accurate. I always prefer the colors to be as similarities to the OG figures as possible, but making adjustments where they make sense. If the colors on 3P figures are too far off from the originals though, I start feel like they are not the same characters as their G1 counter part.

 

Those colours are perfect! If only..

Prometheus is very underrated. He may not be very photogenic, but he is a damn good combiner.

 

my TFC Combiner issues mostly come from them being bigger than I want, if it's not a beast I don't want them as big as what TFC, GC, Warbatron are making
