Please don't try to emulate his cartoon appearance. This is based off of his look in IDW's early comics. Match that.

 

I just want a MP Megatron that turns into a tank....could care less about gun mode....Ever since I played Devestation I've been wanting a tank Megatron to fight my MP-10....

Though I have three complaints....

1. Both waist and thighs are a bit small
2. The face is fine I just want the color to match the rest of the head
3. I really hope that tank turret rotates

I didn't realize this guy had a tank and a gun mode. That's awesome.

Sorry to tell you, it's not. You'd be better off getting CW Devastator+the PE arm kit instead, they cost more or less the same.

 

The three modes are cool, but something about this guy's aesthetic just looks off to me--like a video game model without a particularly high polygon count or something.

Damn, I'm happy with Apollyon, but this is looking really hard to resist. If the reviews are good, I think I'll have to add another Megs to the collection.

 

This looks great! I wish the color was more like Apollyon. I already have Apollyon so this won't replace him on my MP Shelf. Hell, since we have the Leader Class Seekers and a Leader Class Soundwave coming, I might just let this replace my Leader Class Megatron on the Classics Decepticon shelf. This is barely taller then Leader Class Megatron anyway.

 

Because a lot of people got really really pissed at it for not being G1. My point is that if that bothers you, it doesn't affect you at all because the other modes aren't hampered by it.

But it's too big for me!

With Masterpiece dominating the market, my shelves are too stuffed as it is. Would have probably bought as a $70 Voyager, though.

This may be the one exception I make to my "Takara only" MP collection...that G1 gun/tank combo looks amazing.

Megatron is actually the only G1 character that I feel needs an update. I know the odds of an official MP deviating at all from the original alt mode are slim to none so I'll gladly jump on this version assuming the reviews check out.

 

Apollyon looks so much better, IMHO....more accurate and just overall more badass looking. I can't see an MP scale Megatron getting much better than that. Gladius, though, just looks a little......off.

 

Not MP enough (atheistically) to fit with the MP line, shame it's not a Voyager Chug.

Interested though.
