Evidently, he's yellow and blue, according to the wiki... And in Head Games he was rescued from Fort Max by Lio Convoy's group  

 

What's Head Games? Why were Fort Max and Lio Convoy together?

In BWU Fort Max is responsible for the creation of the Maximals, Predacons, and gladiator system.

 

Head Games was a really good story, too. Personally I like Broken Windshields the best. Burning Bridges was... alright. I hated it because it revolved around two characters we're likely to definitely not get toys of, with a mediocre plot twist and *SPOILER*

Which kind of ruins the chances of ever getting a story with Lio Convoy's crew from BWII ever becoming a possibility.
And it seems Lio Convoy is playing less and less of an actual role in each story. He at least put the strategy and team together in Head Games, but he was only at the end of Burning Bridges and said a sentence or two.

 

Did the Beast Wars 2 version of Magnaboss suffer from brittle plastic on the eagle like the American mold? I feel like I remember reading that it's more sturdy a few years back.

 

I think (think!) he was made of a more brownish plastic that was less prone to cracking, like TM Megatron.

Not so far as I know. I am sure he IS brittle, but the US version doesn't even suffer from GPS that bad.

 

He does suffer from GPS to some degree, though. The Silverbolt in my set snapped clean in half the last time I seperated the gestalt. I've also seen several sets for sale just on TFW where the hinges at the ends of the wings have shattered.

 

Judging by the TFU images, they do appear to differ slightly in their brown plastic. Silverbolt has a more shiny dark color while Skywarp has a more lighter plain shine. Skywarp's plastic reminds me of B'Boom's blue plastic.

I'm not sure why. They're all pretty great. Especially the Beast Wars Uprising stuff. Jim Sorenson pretty much made that his baby, and the three of them are well written. Considering he (and everyone else who write stories for FunPub) is a fan.

Eh. I'd rather they not. I mean a Shattered Glass Rhinox would be great... If it were a Shattered Glass Beast Wars set. But it isn't, so... Yeah

 

I remember having both B'Boom and Noctoro as a kid, both were fun toys.

I always imagined B'Boom's voice being similar to Tigatron's or some times Rafiki's, and Noctoro's voice being like a Mexican Luchador.

Maybe I should look into getting those guys again..

 

I always thought it was funny that he (Noctorro) was marketed as a "heroic maximal", even though he looks like the devils spawn.

There just not to my tastes, sorry.

Me too.

I prefer SG characters that aren't just copycats of an opposite team's colours. I prefer when they throwback to a previous version or come up with something new.

 

If you can get past the fact that Cybertronian society is based around The Hunger Games, then they're worth a look.

 

Oh my gosh that sounds AMAZING but that might be because I am a Hunger Games fan. So where does this story fall in continuity wise?
