Other than the existing preorder bonus skins (which may or may not eventually be available to those who didn't preorder for a price,) we don't know that there even will be any DLC for it. Its reception has been fairly lukewarm, so it's possible additional content won't be considered profitable.

What's everyone's favorite weapon(s) from the game so far? I've only been working on Bumblebee/Goldfire's stats so far. I've equipped him with the Star Saber (lvl 10), Twin Energon Swords (lvl 10) (which are so awesome), Burn Sniper (lvl 10) and the Twin Golden Hunter (lvl 10+).

Right now I've mostly been playing as Optimus for an achivement, so I'm using a hammer, sword, knuckles, and machinegun combo. I've found that this combo is probably the best for close-quarter combat overall, as all of the weapons have distinct advantages and disadvantages over one another. Hammer is really slow but works wonders in focus time, Swords are great for crowd control but only really slice through enemies without much knockback, whereas the knuckles are focused on singular enemies with huge amounts of knockback. And of course I chose machinegun for the sake of chaining it together in melee combat with headshots to extend my combos and such, and machineguns are the only ones with enough ammo to be reliable in such cases.

Been restricting myself to only certain ranks, though, as I found when playing through on my first playthrough that choosing higher ranks for bosses made me a liiitle overpowered. Killed Megatron's final boss in 30 seconds flat without him even getting a say in otherwise. And his second phase... yeah. He only got two sentences of banter out, and he was done. A bit of a letdown, honestly.

So now I'm limiting myself to D ranks for Warrior difficulty and C ranks for commander. Give me a decent amount of power when fully leveled up, but when pitted against the final bosses they definitely aren't overpowered; you have to have mad skills when taking down Megatron when limiting yourself like this, which is awesome. Made the final boss a million times better than it was on my first playthrough.

I assume that Magnus difficulty's "balanced" rank would be B, and Prime's A, but we'll see.

Also, I've found that if you want a balanced runthrough on normal difficulty, END and STR are the only stats you should be manually upgrading, if any. Went crazy with the stats on my first runthrough and ended up with vehicle attacks and rush attacks that completely decimated enemies faster than my hammer could. Fully leveled up stats are only for commander mode, really.

Wish they gave you the option to tone down the stats for your characters on certain difficulties, though. Can never go back to Warrior difficulty now without being completely overpowered against everything under the sun. The least they could have done is keep the max stats for each difficulties set to certain levels; now I'll have to wipe my save if I ever even want to play a good normal game again...

    For me it's:

    Bumblebee
    SS lvl 50 Star Saber
    SS lvl 50 Shock Rifle
    SS lvl 50 Heavy Rifle
    (Whatever level I have) Loudspeaker

With lots of lvl 5 Crd Drop, Rare Drop, Damage, Attack Speed, and Overdrive skills equipped.

He becomes an unstoppable whirling dervish!

    Current setup is:

    Prime with :
    Menasor's sword at level 25
    Lightning laser at level 25
Gatling missile launcher at level 25
Some random blaster with a load of rare drop adds.

    Still prefer wheeljack though.

I'm a real Sideswipe guy for whatever reason. A little stronger than Bumblebee, more vehicle attack prompts than Prime. Easier to break shields. Anyway:

    Sideswipe Swords: Lvl. 40
Star Saber: Lvl. 40 (still not seeing any energy shots)
Photon Eliminator: Level 28 (this thing is a beast for the headshot at the end of a combo and it's not even fully leveled yet!)
Heavy Machinegun or Heavy Blaster(?): depending on whether I want combo continuation or just powerful shots slightly faster than the PE.

Most are Atk.+ or FocTim+ since Sideswipe swords enhance focus damage dealt. Still farming but no idea what for. Never used a Hammer.

I like Wheeljack because of the ability to use heavier ranged weapons. Don't see the point of having more than one melee, so the option of being able to use the gatling missile launcher is a big plus in his corner.

Pretty much the Dark Star Saber in general. I find it's attack power very good and the shock waves it sends out is very helpful to take down airborne enemies so that you don't have to waste too much ammo.

Just got this game today. Already blitzed through the story mode in about 4-5 hours, but I just replayed it again because of how amazingly great the gameplay is. Addicting and intuitive!

Just wish there was a bit more variety, more skins, more players (how about Hound, Mirage, and Jazz?), and I wish all the Autobots would team up more instead of going at it 1 vs all for most of the story. Other than that, great game!

So I have a question about the trophy that's literally titled "Platinum" When it says get the highest rank, does it mean that I have to get at least one SS rank or does it mean I have to somehow get SS rank on every single chapter?

You need to have an AVERAGE of SS ranks. You don't have to get straight SS. If you get like Six SS and 3 A's, you'll get SS Chapter-wide for example.

Quick question. Do skills on weapons only work while that weapon is equipped, or at all times?

Has anyone else playing the Xbox One version come across a bug after the recent patch that screws the store when playing challenge mode (I tried the store in the campaign after patch, it worked just fine). I can't buy large repair kits from the store anymore when playing challenge mode. Money is spent but nothing is actually bought. Other items work just fine however.

Playing through my first run at Magnus level. All I have to say is this: I HATE INSECTICONS.

Question how do you do a rush attack... I keep trying with Sideswipe but it doesn't happen, unless I'm doing something wrong?
