To be clear, your carpet makes all toys more attractive ;p
Yours and Maz's were 2 of my favourite reviews.

Kinda funny huh? I live in what is essentially Mayberry, the house I rent is gated and the post office never has issues leaving packages.

I got mine in today! First off, it has a beautiful paint job. No QC issues what so ever.

Unfortunately, the figure itself was a little disappointing for me. Maybe I've been waiting for this guy for so long that my expectations were unfairly high, but his bot mode is quite fiddly.

I've been quite careful throughout the transformation process, and despite that I've already begun seeing chipping on the windshield from rubbing against the pelvis. Despite being tabbed in at the sides, the backpack moves out of place when I move the arms or rotate the torso. The arms also disconnect from the chest often too. In the instructions it's not clear how much of an angle the backpack connecting arm should sit so I'm a bit lost where the correct position is.

Last complaint (and I really wish I didn't have this many) is how the head sits. When clicked forward it's too forward and appears to float. The forward option will help with downward looking poses a great deal so I can see why it's an option. My concern is that when clicked backward the joint may loosen over time and will slant backward.

Other than that he really is an amazing figure with great accessories. The stand is awesome, it and makes me wish the previous bots had peg holes for them to be used on it. Tracks' coloring give such a boost in variety to the current lineup. Best of all he's very posable!

Once I get used to handling him I doubt I'll have any other issues I'm having now. I can see myself coming back to him often and finding cool poses he can pull off.

So for the side mirrors, is everyone in agreement that these should "click" in now?

I got Tracks last Sat from TCP but finally got around to transforming him this morning.

I couldn't for the life of me get them to click in.

I got mine last night and had the same issue with the side mirrors. They actually fell out during transformation. Right now they are holding just fine with a little excessive force applied. I never heard or felt a click, I think they're meant to hold just on friction which kind of sucks, because they are close to the tabs in the back which, if not careful, can loosen them up if the door panels are pushed in at the wrong angle causing them to bump into each other which is what loosened them up on mine.

Mine clicked in, but I didn't use my hands. I have toothpicks that have a flat back. I put them in some what, then forced them in the rest of the way by pushing on the base of the mirror with the dull end of the toothpick. It took some effort, but it went in and is secure.

They don't exactly "click" in per se, you'll know they're in all the way when the lower section is flush with the door.

Thanks my man, I haven't done a review yet for Tracks, just photographs. My review will be my usual Tuesday night slot at Source Blog :)

My mirrors did not click in but they sit flush with the car door and no longer drop out.

Hey I feel the same but mileage varies on that score, some people see Sphinx standing out like a sore thumb, for me I think the aesthetic in hand is nailed, the transformation is Masterpiece philosophy (I can't even explain it, I have tried believe me, cannot put into words what I mean), if TakTom never give us MP Mirage I will be forever satisfied with Sphinx. I could not say the same for Invisible which was a quality product and a great toy, but just not MP Mirage to me.

Oh I'm just yanking yer chain, I haven't put up a Tracks review yet :)

Tomorrow night shall be a good night.

    All the best
    Maz

The top of the backpack transforms to have a yellow detail up front?!

The red face paint apps on mine are also a little dodgy around the top edges. Hardly noticeable unless under microscope.

I love how crisp these close ups are. That head sculpt is amazing!

Got mine from In Demand today, Christmas came early for me as I never had Tracks back in the day. What a great figure, solid and sleek. I think he will have to be displayed in Flight Mode as it puts him above the others and in almost car mode which is by far better looking than most of the other MP figures alt modes save Magnus. I'm new to this site but I love the fact that you guys are so passionate about collecting.

If you look at the mirror pegs they have a little ridge. You need to push the mirrors in far enough for that ridge to go inside the hole. It takes a fair amount of force to get them in, but you'll know you have it when the ridge is inside and the mirror is locked firmly in place.

Unfortunately, it's typical and lazy. When I ordered G2 Bumblebee, they left it on the porch, along with a bunch of packages my wife ordered. Anyone could have walked away with our stuff!

USPS always puts the packages into the mailbox, but any other parcel service leaves them on the porch.
