Yeah. You can buy characters, as well as some costumes, with in-game currency. How easy it will be to do so though is still unknown. Don't forget that a lot of games let you buy their stuff with in-game currency but in some cases it's almost impossible to do so without a crazy grind.

 

I'm even fine with crazy grinding compared to dropping money for multiple copies of "improved" versions. I am glad Capcom is finally learning.

 

I have 0 problem with them putting up a charge for those who WANT IT NOW, and leaving an grind system for those who want to earn it. I know I'd much rather earn my items, but if people are impatient and waving cash at capcom for ease of access, they'd be stupid not to offer that option as well.

 

Have you played any free mobile games where you had to unlock things with grinding? Usually they make it somewhat manageable at first but later you pretty much hit a paywall that feels impossible to pass by just grinding. I'm worried we'd have that problem.

Ok I have decided to pre-order on PS4. I only got my PS4 a week or two ago so am a complete noob on it, how do I go about playing on the beta as a mate told me that is how you do that, have I been misinformed and really want to have a go on this before I am at least slightly knowledgeable of the match ups so don't get totally owned online upon release.
