I've been holding off on buying this because i am not convinced it looks enough like Warpath in robot mode. Then today i was able to buy one second hand at a cheaper price. I hope it turns out OK. The parts that seem off to me are the tank details visible in robot mode. From reading the thread looks like most are satisfied.

I don't think you transformed the shoulders, i.e. pivot the black joints so the shoulders sit lower. they're super annoying, so good luck!

Seeing this thread made me grab him from the shelf again and I forgot how good he was. Total twat to transform in the shoulders/elbows but when you get him in robot mode he's so nice.

Yes, I did. I prefer leaving the shoulders up a notch so that they don't stick out as much on the sides. The transformation of the shoulders is definitely the most tricky part - everything else is quite simple now, IMO. :)

Fiddled with this today. The transformation isn't hard; it is intuitive, but it is fiddly due to all the tabs.

And the tabs make it a solid bastard so I don't mind.

I hate this figure. I've bought it twice, and still don't have one on the shelf. I'll probably buy another one and NEVER transform it back to tank. But, then what's the point of buying a transforming robot if you only leave it as a figure?

The transformation is not fun, in fact it's the most un-fun Transformer I've ever had. The second one, I just threw it across the room, it's that frustrating. It's an engineering marvel for sure, but a real bitch of some kind of hellish Mensa exam to transform. The instructions aren't any help. I've noticed that if third parties have a failing, it's definitely their instruction manuals.

So, yeah, I'll probably buy it again, but IF I can get it into robot mode, he will NEVER go back to tank mode.

I'm a big fan of everything else Cubex and BadCube have done, even my flawed, chipping Huff.

I'm sorry you are having so much trouble with this guy! I was hesitant to get him for same reason but...I have no trouble, with him. I sometimes take his arms Off to make sure I have the joint correct but I went to take. Ode from robot mote with no trouble and to robot mode also? I think that the instructions for Wardog sure better than most 3rd party.

It's worst for me is xtransbots wheelie. The legs have to be in a precise angle to fold up and I can never remember how. It is bot to car that always stumps me. This fig is more intuitive.

I got mine today. I haven't transformed it yet, but so far, I'm not too impressed. It doesn't feel MP-ish. Like, at all. The plastic feels weird, kinda flexy-powdery-oily? Not the type of plastic I prefer. And if you remove that cheat of a shield, well, it seems there's not much left. Oh well, I'll see later tonight.

Well, I don't like it. Not that hard to transform, but the plastic... Felt like I was transforming a Roadbot.

Got wardOg today, mostly because I put it off for so long and then figured nothing was moving in stock so I got ancy and bought it. I'm running out of room on my masterpiece autobot shelf but he still fits and the figure is solid. Really happy with this impulse buy!

Once salus and Gundog comes in, I'm screwed. There is no way my wife will let me get another cabinet....yet ;)

I usually don't like cluttered collections but yours looks good for some strange reason!? Nice G1 collection!
