Not sure if anyone has tried this yet, but I never liked the looks of Hasbro version of Menasor, he looked too chubby and gorilla like. So I tried a few variations to make him look more G1 and I like the result this wielded.

If anyone is going to do this variation, you may have to tighten Breakdowns crotch screw a little and Motormasters as well (depending on what version you have of him).

This way seems to even him out a little and gives him a little more pose-ability.

 

I've done similar things with my Stunticons to stretch out those stumpy legs. Same with the Aerialbots... but if you've got a loose figure, it really cuts down on the weight those little joints can bear. I find my Dead End and Wildrider's legs always want to split

Here are a couple of my variations. Unfortunately, I think I need to add some tightness to Menasor's leg joints to make it more stable.

Which version of Motormaster do you have? Mines version 1 with the craptastic hips. I tried to do what you did initially but the 'shoulders' were too floppy, the way I have mine are tucked in between the 'backpack' so they don't flop. My Wildrider is fine, Breakdown was the one that had a bit of an issue, easily remedied.

I stretched out the legs on Superion and reversed them as well, gave him a bit more lift and ankle tilt, sacrificed the knees though.

IMO,this is the best way of his robot mode.

no bro. the CD upgrade out of stock right now. I just used all the parts included in the G1 encore omega supreme.   the feet are not connected. and the knees are loosely attached. im finding ways to make it walk. its good to display like this though, a lot taller  

 

I think the face upgrade is in there too. You shouldn't lie, sir, we'll find out.

I still call BS, because out of the 30 years I've had my Omega, this is the first time I've ever seen this..

 

It's the exact same thing the crazy devy upgrade does - they just add clips to attach the feet and upper leg parts that snap together properly.

How do you call BS just because you've never seen it? I'm pretty sure there's even a thread of hidden features where people all the time are like "Hey, I've had _______ forever and never knew that"

 

I never knew that you could do that with G1 Omega, I'll give it a try on mine, thanks! Yes, some more height helps with him. The CD upgrade is in stock at bbts, maybe that would help with connecting the feet and with walking but I don't have that kit (too expensive) so I don't know if it's worth it.

 

Ok djao99, I tried it with my KO Mechabot-1, I do like the added height but without the Crazydevy upgrade kit to connect the feet, I feel it's too unstable. I might get the kit if it ever goes down in price or if you ever figure out a better method, let us know!
