So, update. I lost the pin to Neckbreaker, and none of the tricks worked for Heavy Labor's stripped screw. I think I'll just have to live with them until I can get enough money to buy 2nd edition versions of the two figures. The others are still functioning, and I'm currently waiting for Exgraver's ball joints to dry.

:(  Sorry that you got stuck with lemons. Hope it doesn't sour you on the set, and that you'll be able to enjoy Herc when he's all combined!

It's two figures that I have heard have a lot of issues. The others are pretty good QC wise, but NEckbreaker and Heavy Labor have problems. Plus, I'll have a third fist for whatever I want, and four extra guns.

Yet another update. I got my replacement, and I've tightened up everything that I can tighten up on all of the figure (except for one thing which I have no idea if it can be tightened or not.

I love this set. It feels sturdy, there's tons of playability, it's nice and big, and it's just a ton of fun. My few complaints are that I had to do so much for this set once I got it (replacing broken leg, figure, and will eventually have to get the Shapeways hips) that I will probably spend almost half of the price I had already spent for the set as a whole in tweaks and additions.

Also, the torso connection between Heavy LAbor and Dr. Crank, despite being pretty sturdy, looks very loose. The little cab on Heavy Labor doesn't plug in securely into Dr. Crank, and it just looks like there's nothing holding the two halves together. It looks like the top half is just kind of balancing on the top.

Speaking of Dr. Crank, is there any good way to tighten up his crane assembly? The middle portion of the crane can fall into the largest portion very easily, but I'm not sure if I can do anything about that. Anyone have any advice?

Commentary in another thread reminded me to look into alternate heads for Hercules.

I really like the cartoony shape of the Dr. Wu ones, but they only seem to come in 'yelling' or 'smirking', and I'd prefer a more neutral expression. Plus they come with that mini figure I don't want.

Are there other replacement heads out there with the G1 cartoon shape?

Hey where was everyone finding those small yellow and black constructions decals they were placing on this set? I've done a quick search but couldn't find anything.

Keep an eye out in the Junkion exchange and ebay. Its becoming common place to find a complete Herc for right around $200. You'll definitely spend more hunting down the individual limbs.

Does anyone know of a potential neck replacement for Exgraver? Mine broke, and I've looked at Neckbreaker and the KO's. Neckbreaker uses a different type of neck, and I think the KO's have different neck connectors. Does anyone have a suggestion, or a version of Exgraver they can copy the part from?

So how do you get Rage of Hercules's shoulder connectors off of Hook without destroying the figure?

Gently but "forcibly"(only way I know to describe this process, kind of an oxymoron) pry them forward towards the direction the original connector hinges fold when they are in the closed position for alt mode.

Pulling outwards without the slight bend will most likely break something.
