To update on the Extra Hard gold situation...apparently Perceptor's (50 core bot) stats were messed up initially so they applied an update to fix it. Before they applied teh update, Extra Hard gold was normal like in the past. But after the update, it reduced by factor of 10. So it's still possible they might fix it in the near future. I haven't gotten there yet but it'll be awhile because I'm not spending gold to get there until I know for sure.

 

Is anyone else having hard time seeing tm2 Megatron on the exclusives screen? I have 52 cores but can't get my robot...

 

Do you have enough of the required resources that aren't the character cores?

 

Another update by DeNA forum admin. Supposedly the gold rewards for Hard and Extra Hard are random. For Hard you could get 1, 10, or 100 gold. For Extra Hard you could get 5, 50, or 500 gold. I don't like it...but we'll see if they're telling the truth. Hope they just go back to the old format eventually. If anybody gets the "jackpot" or even just the old reward amount, let us know.

Edit: League mate of mine told me he just got the 50 gold reward for Extra Hard...so DeNA is not lying. Just kind of dumb system I think.

 

Just got the massive 5 gold reward on EH map 2. Not happy, sooo not happy.

 

Why would that matter? All of the other characters are visible whether or not I have event cores

 

Knowing dena odds for EH Gold are 1% 500 Gold, 9% 50 Gold, 90% 5 Gold...

This isn't looking good...

 

2x thru extra hard and 10gold each time.

Confirming Extra Hard Map #3 Reward can be as bad as 5 gold. DeNA basically slammed the door on us with this move  

I got 50 gold in Map #2 my first time through - but just got 5 gold on my second run  

 

You can already see the dip in scores...top 200 only requires one person to have beaten extra hard...probably would be 3 people beating extra hard at least by now for a regular stronghold.

 

I hear you, octibon. Seems everyone is just playing with free energon now.

I've had 1 person in my league get 500 gold in EH (and on his first run!) but I've been through 2x now with just 55 gold (e.g., 50 gold in Map 2 + 5 gold in Map 3) per trip. Far cry from the 100 guaranteed gold we used to get  

 

Has anyone else had trouble watching the video ads that you have to in order to get the free energon? Every time I click on "free energon" and the video starts to play- except it doesn't, it never connects, and I get an error message instead. I have been unable to get the free energon for days now.

 

That does not seem to be working, or at least it is randomized, as I have face and beat Perceptor 5 times now any did not get any tickets, but I did one last night and got 2 tickets

 

Yah this is gonna be a long event I think, I've done 2 eh runs... and a total of 110 gold.. whoop de doo positively... tho my TM2 megatron almost ready!

I feel your pain BigWillay. Curious that you're not getting Halloween tickets as I've had 4 drop consistently on the last (6th) battle of Extra Hard Map 3.

 

None Atomatron. Only 1 guy in my league has won 500 gold and he regretted spending it all on energon. Most common result is still 10 gold (5+5) per EH completion so consider yourself lucky if you get more.

 

Got 50 and 500 gold on my last run!!! Very happy. Played about 8 runs through so far. Most were 5 gold, but I've been getting some more 50 golds recently. Just been playing my free energon. Will try to save as much for the next PVP.
