How far is the address from you? Maybe you could pay a visit.

-SS (if they don't have kids, they might just give it back.)

Bought the last battle core optimus prime from northpoint tru
EDIT: Apparently somebody returned this since his restraints were cut and the collector card is loose in box, but after inspecting prime I see nothing wrong yet...

Great news! Whoever USPS mistakenly delivered my MP Starscream to is an honest person. They dropped the package off (unopened) on my front porch early this morning. Crisis averted despite the mail snafu. I've actually had packages delivered to my address by mistake and I've always hand delivered them to the correct recipient (usually a different street in my neighborhood). I guess what goes around comes around in a good way sometimes! This is such a relief!

I got the last Masterpiece Starscream at the Fayettville TRU on Saturday. Fantastic update to the old MP mold and one of my favorite MP's to come out thus far.

Found RiD Minicons wave 2 at the Montgomery Crossroad Super Wal-mart, they had plenty of other Minicons and CW voyagers, deluxes and leaders were a bit slimmer. No sign of CW Ultra Magnus, sadly.

There was a CW Thundercracker at the Cobb Lowy Wal-Mart. Also if you check the Wal-Marts, Target, Toy R Us' between Cobb Pkwy up to Kennesaw you should be able to piece together the protectobots and the newer cw bot.

Cobb Pkwy TRU had Warrior Megatronus if anyone is interested.
CW Thundercracker is $21 on Amazon, not a sighting but worth mentioning.

Hey, I am new to the forums. I wanted to know what MP figures are currently available in TrU right now "in the area if anyone knows". I am getting into the hobby and wanted to check on these if anyone knows. I live in the Northern Atlanta area.

When I went to the local TrU I only saw Bluestreak/Streak. On there website they had a strange looking soundwave and one of the seekers I believe. Are there others out there? Thanks.

    Welcome welcome!!!

Pretty much what you saw is all there is at the moment. Bluestreak self warming everywhere. But the only other MP figure that is out is Starscream which is harder to come by.

I live near Athens. Are there any hobby stores in the northern Atlanta area worth checking out besides the typical toysrus and Walmart?

I think 8ther options would primarily be comic shops. In the north end of town you have:
    galactic quest (buford, lawrenceville)
    titans games (duluth/pleasant hill)
    area 52 comics (oakwood)
    billies toys (oakwood)

i like all but galactic quest. I find the owner to be a knob. Billies might have some tf toys. They are great either way. Area 52 has a reissue prime that is opened for way too much money. That is all i know.

Also, since you are near Athens you might try J&J flea market. I have found a few transformers there. they were mostly annihilated but if you need them for parts that's an option.

Last time I went to J&J there was hardly ANYTHING there so you might not find anything there but could be worth a shot maybe.

If you thinking hobby just in general you could check out Hobbytown USA. One in Duluth. Models and what not but they do have a LOT of Gundam if that's your thing. (Which is holding me over lately until the CW Bruticus wave comes out.)

Good to see another Athens on the boards. From there myself and go back to visit family every now and again. :)

I'm from Athens as well but I don't post much because there are scalpers who visit and lurk in these pages. There is a fb group where we post sightings.

Funny thing happen today. I had to pick up a tux for a wedding this weekend. So there I was at Men's Warehouse in the Georgia Square Mall in Athens, and toys r us is you know right down the road. Well I've recently picked up the protectobots deluxes and groove has been peg warming there for over a month. So I was gonna pick myself up a groove. So, I made my way over to tru walked down the aisle, and there they were. THREE DEVASTATORS!!! As soon as I locked eyes on that beautiful box my heart began to pound. I paced back and forth, trying to tell myself that I don't need Devy. Telling myself "now clay if you really wanted this thing you would have got it Amazon months ago". So I called my girlfriend and updated her on the situation and told her to tell me to "just walk away!". She told me to shut up and buy the damn thing (god I love her!). So I pick up one of the boxes and marched to checkout while nodding to groove and said "next time little buddy". It was priced at $170 but they price matched Amazon so I got him for $143 plus tax.

Long story short there are 2 Devastators at Athens TRU and like 6 grooves.

The convention itself is great and I usually do a lot of non-TF buying, but as far as Transformers go last year most of the vendors were hilariously over priced, especially on the things I was looking for. Most notably some guy wanting like $100 for the CW Armada Megs when you could just drive down the street and get it for $45, someone wanting $80 for CW Motormaster.

Just went to TRU on Pleasant Hill to kill time at lunch. TONS of RID stuff. A couple CW Devastators ($170! Yikes). Couple of Armada Megatrons, CW First Aid that had the packaging all busted up and a OffRoad. Pretty slim pickings overall.

I'm looking for a non Armada Meg's locally if anybody sees one. Guess I'll ride up to Athens this weekend.
