Awww, he wasn't that bad. He was one of the least offenders of that toyline. It's not like he was Grimlock or *shivers at the though* ... Onslaught.

 

foc shockwave was good, just small like everything else in that line.

 

Wasn't supposed to be 'big'. I mean not everything has to be voyager or greater sized.

True, but when bigger characters are the same size as the smaller ones it can be a bummer.

I hope to see these guys make Voyager Seekers and a Megatron as well.

 

I think the 3rd party Voodoo offering looks perfectly accurate as a Hasui style Masterpiece Ratchet (because Hasui did have a tendency to add details that weren't cartoon accurate). Ironhide is a bit off, since the crotch only got that diamond shape & not any more retooling.

I think overall the VooDoo mold has a better look, but I'd like a face like the Masterpiece & a sight remold on the hip panels to remove those inlet things & do something to make the hips a tad more Ironhide accurate.

 

There was a complete and fully painted one at a table with other MT upcoming items.

 

I'm looking forward to the Parallax upgrade kits for Prime and Magnus. They look pretty sweet. These are from TfCon Toronto in July.

 

He just looks a little weird with the helicopter having a full US Coast Guard jayhawk paint scheme.

Exactly, the battle station is a freebie, and more so where you store ironhide's accessories.

 

Well Shockwave is clearly one of the few Cons that should've been!

Hell, in every other toy line he's been a Voyager class figure or bigger. (G1, Animated, DSOTM, Prime). But when it counts.....

Anyway if that FOC 3P version is at a reasonable price it will be my last (no more stand in's from Hasbro). The upcoming Legends will serve as "Shockbot minions" I'll likely buy 3 (it's only logical) and the others (2 Animated, 1 DOFP and 1 FOC deluxe) will be sold or traded.

 

I'm really quite surprised just how much of this is stuff we've already seen. That was somewhat disappointing. =\

Of the new reveals, however, that stuff is killer. Awesome stuff coming, wallet's already begging for mercy.

Though, I thought MP Blitzwing was a tad underwhelming. I don't like the toy feet, I'd much rather have animation feet, but I know you can't make everyone happy all the time. The rest of him looks amazing.

 

Don't get me wrong, foc Shockwave (hasbro) looks really good. But this guy looks even better  

Ugh, I bought both Grimlock and Onslaught (only because of Bruticus), and Grimlock isn't all that bad (except for the hollowness). But I might buy planet x's Grimlock, that beast looks really gooooood.

 

I just realized that X2 needs to sell more of that orange paneling they used for the MP-Bumblebee jetpack by itself in a larger quantity.

And then release it is purple too like as is seen behind CW Devastator.

 

Or somebody needs to produce a crapload more mechanical chainbases.
