To avoid the stress marks watch Breaux man's review..filing down the gray connectors helps to solve that issue.

I've fan modded my swoop. Just place his legs in 'arm mode' and turn the waist so the bird feet are in the front and voila..looks way better than his box mode. Will post pics later on today

So after seeing Peaugh's review of Spear I am having SERIOUS reservations about completing this set; it looks great if you can get it to stand in combine mode, but it looks like that is quite a chore to do, and that there are only a couple of positions it will work in. I'd like to hear some more feedback from other owners.

(I only have one member thus far (Roar) and like him, but I'm not sure I want to get the rest since the gestalt mode was the primary reason I was into this set.)

 

what are your specific concerns?...I think they are really good as a set and the combiner is growing on me while I continue to play with it...I have a review up as well...just to get a different perspective...

Thanks for the shout out breaux man! To me it looks & feels right. There is some slight movement at the waist when you pick it up thats my only nit pick, but aesthetically far more pleasing than the official box.

 

I wonder if we can get an extra set of wings for spear. The plastic feels like it's going to break from GPS if I try to move them or plus in the cannons.

 

I'm still waiting on my Spear to arrive but is the combiner instructions from TW really shit or something?

Several reviews I have watched has the combiner wings pegged in wrong and some even forget Dreg and Spear both have dedicated combiner elbows.

Are you serious? how the hell did people miss those? they're so damn obvious... and in the instructions. wtf.

Also yeah tw doesn't point out how exactly to attach the wings but if you peg them inside grims wings they not only look much better but sit very securely compared to the pegs on his back where I think many people have been attaching them.
