Finally got Wardog....man its a nice figure....was surprised how big the tank mode is in person. The transformation was a b*%$# but I love a challenge. I think his transformation is actually harder than Apollyon. The shoulder section was probably the most nail biting part. Love the bot mode size. Overall, a solid figure.

 

Sorry to bump a thread so old, but I just got wardog in a Pile of Loot with FT bombshell

Great tank and bot mode. But the transformation...come on. I'm sure it'll get better after a few more times, but MP-05, appolyon, MP rodimus prime...all of them have easier transformations. Going back to tank was ridiculous. so many tabs and sliders, and collapsing joints. It's not fun.
I'm hoping Spinout isn't as bad.

Yeah, I just got mine a few days ago too. Nice tank, but I'm pretty sure I'll never see it as a tank again. Life's just too short to intentionally put myself through that again.

It almost makes me want to get Apollyon after what people say. I found his transformation complicated but it also made a lot of sense. And the shoulders are simply this: move it from one peg to another. That's it.

 

I just did the same as you, got wardog with loot stack and bombshell. I changed Wardog to bot mode and I think I have shoulders correct but not looking forward to going back to tank mode.

 

Hey, also, where is a good place to put an autobot symbol? This guy is difficult to decide. I could do the forearms or the abdomen?

 

I went with the ab and the bottom of his feet  .

 

I used the two spots on his shoulders and the bottom of the feet. Also got the reprolabels set for him, I'm not always a repo guy but DAMN does that set pop on Wardog.

 

I hope Badcube makes a repaint of this guy soon.

 

Just transformed Wardog into tank mode while on a phone call. Such a beauty and has to be a figure of the year consideration.

I just transformed Wardog whilst blindfolded, in my sleep, without removing him from the box.
 

 

Hopefully some figure with a more realistic tank paint job. Tan, green, grey, black, camo, whatever.

This is what I'm hoping for. Of course I would love a black repaint but that camo custom done awhile back was great. Any camo except arctic and I'm in.

 

I would love to see a Treds repaint out of War Dog!

 

I'm really on the fence about this guy.

I keep wanting to buy him and then "chicken out" before pressing the purchase button.

Something to me just looks off, but reading all the love for him and seeing him mentioned in the "figure of the year" thread makes me want to buy him again.
