I made a little adjustment on robot mode because I realized that robot knees are manta ray's eyes. I thought the eyes were on the side of the legs but apparently it's seems to be reactors for the manta ray. Otherwise the eyes would be upside down

Exactly. That digibash looks great, but TFC's preview-pallette didn't even have half the colors that are needed to do the Seacons properly. Where's the almost-pink very-pale-lavender? The fuschia?

PS----the knees are not the eyes. The eyes are a bit further outwards. They're on the sides, not the top.

Well, Overbite should be the gestalt's gun, so I'm kinda curious why he even has a connector port here.

 

Because Piranhacon was Scramble City style, so any bot could be any limb, or the gun. Torso or excepted, that is.

 

Yes, but Piranacon's color scheme only "works" in a certain configuration (as seen in Headmasters and the JP box art)

And in ANY configuration, Overbite is always the "odd man out" due to his unique colors, so he looks odd as any limb, clashing with the others. But as a gun, his unique coloring actually works for that.

 

I'm agree with you but where do you see the eyes in alt mode ? The little half circle on the side at the base of the antennas ?
On manta ray mode, the eyes of Seawing G1 are big. I don't understand very well TFC on this point...

By comparison to all the other G1 combiners Liokaiser is self contained apart from the combiner helmet.

Which makes the third party attempt a step back by comparison since it stores the head but has fist and foot acessories.
