So a few things that concern me about this figure..

Im worried he does not have a bicep swivel, every angle I see looks like he does not have it.

He also has THREE decepticon logos on his chest, one on the front, two at the sideboob.. I mean I know hes insane but not tasteless!

 

I don't mind him being a Voyager beats him being a deluxe.

Dude you are so right, people who are complaining about things like the headmaster gimmick (when this toy is CLEARLY following the IDW comics, I love my IDW UM except his crap weapons XD) The only real issue I have right now is that Galvatron will have no buddy buddy cyclonus in scale with him. Yes there is that voyager made from silverbolt but come on... Sigh, I was gonna buy the maketoys upgrade kit too.. oh well.

It's a bit ironic but he will never be a headmaster to me. Hopefully there is a way to keep the head on and still transform him. Otherwise I'll pretend his head goes into his chest when he transforms.

 

Im glad you love him but I personally just bought megasteel tronus instead. Megatron was never a super large bot like UM and thats what I always loved about the show, the movie put it best though when the constructicons were like "YO WE FORM DEVASTATOR THE BIGGEST BADDEST BOT OF ALL WE SHOULD RULE" You could clearly see they didnt get the point of being a leader.

 

I wish more people were like you, who can pretend instead of ruining it for the rest of us.

A short glimpse of some of the "complaints" here made me wish for a multiple ignore feature

These will not stop my collection from becoming even more awesome by adding this figure in the future!

Galvatron looks ace and I'm liking his jet mode.

 

I may actually get this Galvatron - don't like the idea of him being a Headmaster, but I can get pass that - voyager size is a plus for me. Now Leader size Blaster on the other hand, WTH!!!!

 

Ok, now that I've seen him transformed correctly I'm sold.

So he actually is a Voyager? I wanted a Leader, but I can live with this.

 

Looks like I'll finally be getting a Galvatron for my CHUG collection.

 

I'm looking and the chest flips down. Maybe I can flip the head down in there....

 

"Jet mode" aside, Galvatron looks awesome.

 

Same here. Like what they've done. But Galvatron as a headmaster, he wouldn't accept that.

However, I do like the headmaster concept, just not Galvatron as one.

  Hence why I could never see Galvatron as a headmaster

Headmasters, Targetmasters, Powermasters in "my universe" were never organics wearing cast-off, physics breaking, shells, they are mini-cons reformatted to fit the head, target, or powermaster bonded partner roles (which also conveniently answers the question of why did Cybertronians have cockpits prior visiting earth if they never met humans before? Reason: Mini-cons)  

 

Well the helmet has to go somewhere so maybe you could just glue the head into the helmet.

 

I like the Japanese approach that they were smaller weaker Cybertronians who built the larger transectors to survive the world they crash landed on. I might mix it with IDW plot with all the Titans going off to different planets. Have Galvatron meet up with the Decepticon headmasters to supplement his forces. I always loved headmasters. I hope this leads to target masters and power masters. I want all those characters.
