Wait and see if the rumors of an upcoming Deluxe Brainstorm -- as unlikely as it may seem on the surface -- might be true.

Hardhead gets to be a headmaster and a target master that way.

It lies within Toyworld's Constructicons, who are extremely G1-accurate, have working treads, have a full cab rotation for Scavenger, and form the largest combiner in existence!

In the bank. Swamper sold out a year ago so why would Toyworld care if Hasbro make Swamper Junior now?

    Keep up.

Swamper isn't a hollow mess that screams that it was a economized to save money for Hasbro and to screw the fans. I'd take Swamper any day. Other than Rewind and Hardhead I would take Maniaking/Swamper/Warden/Soundmixer over any of these versions released by Hasbro.

They're too small. Deluxe, really? When they released Brainstorm as a (rather tall) Voyager?! And then they make Galvatron a voyager... When he should be Leader sized. *sigh*

While it is a bit of a departure from G1, it does make sense for a plane/spaceship (Brainstorm) to be larger than a tank (Hardhead). Relative to each other, there's not much of a scale problem. Relative to many other figures, on the other hand...
Unless, of course, the new Headmasters are radically different in scale from Brainstorm's. That would just mess everything up.

You would take a tank over a CITYBOT? That's new.

Making Blaster a leader class figure would bring him a bit closer to Masterpiece Soundwave than his other iterations. Nice as this may be, I'll be skipping this one and sticking with Transistor.

Hardhead is just begging for an Impactor retool, he'd be perfect for it.
Kind of surprised how much I'm digging these two. I don't even care about the Headmaster part, that's just an added bonus, they look great anyway.

^Remember Funpub usually has to get Hasbro's approval to make their exclusives. So there probably isn't any plans for an Impactor or Thunderwing or most of the Mayhems on Hasbro's part for them to let Funpub to do their set.

The Citybot in question is a remold of Generations Metroplex. I think the original G1 version is superior, but between the two IDW interpretations: PE wins hands down for being able to be used on the G1 version.

Any idea if the heads can fit into their g1 counterparts? The robot modes seem very g1 so it got me wondering. Be nice to get a non resin head for my skullcruncher

Hardhead is wonderful. Skullcruncher I like, but don't have any attachment to the character.

Just brought Crox so I'm kinda mad at myself. But I'm still getting that Skullcruncher. I'm glad hasbro nixed the warpath remold for Hardhead and gave us an updated one. His tank mode was cool when I was a kid. Even though they are small, I'm down. They can easily match up with code and the other FP ones that Hasbro don't make. Even though I hope we get at least one Horrorcon out of this..

Why, Generations? Why must you be so awesome, and make me want so much I cannot afford to have?
