Definitely see the evolution of the design. The chest and legs are basically similar or the same as the final, but most of everything else is different.

Optimus was never actually fully rendered in silver because the silver design was scrapped.

 

Look through the blu-ray imax combo pack it helps

.....In my opinion he was the best looking Megatron in the first three movies, and he was such a disappointment in the actual movie. At least in the 3rd act of the movie.
