Just watched the season finale.... OH MY GOD, WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?!?! I wish we didn't have to wait a year for season 3.
That episode was pretty damn schwifty. But I have to ask, since our Rick and Morty are not native to this dimension (seeing how they turned their own Earth into a Cronenberg nightmare in Rick Potion No. 9, and the Rick and Morty of this dimension died in a random garage explosion and were buried in the backyard), does our Rick share the same experiences and memories as this dimension's dead Rick? It would appear so seeing how Bird Person and Squanchy treat him as their own Rick, and he seems to have committed the same crimes as this dimension's dead Rick and is now doing the time for it. Loved the bits with the tiny Earth world, and Jerry being an idiot but an idiot who had a really good point (at least, up until Rick proves that he does care by turning himself in and letting his family off the hook for his crimes). "My name is Jerry Smith and love sucking sweaty ***** and licking hairy *****!" "Uh.... OK." It's gonna be a long wait for Season 3, let me tell yas!
Damn. The second they brought up that Rick and Birdperson were fugitives being hunted by the Galactic Government, I had a hunch that something awful was gonna happen before the reception was over, but just...damn. Also, Mr. Poopy-Butthole! All in all, I'd say this definitely makes up for the rather-short season. The wait's gonna be a pain, but I've been tiding myself over with the Oni Press comic. Not nearly as hardcore, but at least it'll help with the withdrawals.
That ending, I hated the season was short but this episode proves how powerful this show is. I wonder if the next season will be another year cause I can't, I need it now! Squanch it.
Damn cliffhanger. The wait for season 3 is going to be a lot more painful than the wait for season 2 was.
Nice cliffhanger, but you know what, it was actually a great ending to the series. Good season, but I do think the purge episode and the second TV episode were sort of duds.
Fantastic season finale. And lol at Mr. Poopy-Butthole talking about the long wait until season 3. Also, I love how happy Rick was when he discovered the tiny ice cave.
