Still ticked that the Dinobots in AoE got relegated to McGuffins.

Oh, and that the toyline was cluttered with crap like 3-step changers instead of actual decent toys.

And that we never got Stinger. What the fuck? Really cool redeco of that mold and one of the few actual villains.

 

Exactly keep the cash cow going, at the end the day i am sure most collectors would rather have more MP and new figures rather then well done movies

Also keep in mind that board members and CEO over the years can change so planned movies can be cut just like that if they decide to take it in a different direction

 

Each movies success will determine if the next one will be made. Both box office and merc sales will be the deciding factor.
So if 5 is a bust it is the end. Though i expect consuming hungry americans and europeans will make it a success.

My hope is for a revisit to the old style of transformers. The 1986 movie as a standard. But that is a dream, I already realized that a long time ago.

 

Great, more senseless explosions

 

If the Movie continuum is to become even slightly better it must
1. REMOVE Michael Bay from the director's seat.
2. REMOVE senseless human characters-we want robots in a robot movie, not humans.
3. ADD world-building, backstories, and character development FOR THE TRANSFORMERS.

Tht, is my wish.

Great, just let me know what else will be out on those dates and I'll support those instead.

 

Oh yeah, I'm sure Bay and the movie writers will create a film that is perfectly satisfying to BW fans. I'm sure they will spontaneously develop the ability to create an intelligent story line with deep characters and strong themes. Yep. Holding my breath for that.  

 

There's 2 positives here.

1. This will help fund eventual good content.

2. Even if they manage to get through 8 installments, I don't expect Bay to direct them all. Unless there really is a devil.
