What a stupid moronic idea to release it so late as there is no way on earth we are not going to find out about the film before we get to see it on the big screen and that will just ruin it for me.
Oh well I hope I will not be tempted to buy one of the thousands of ripped copies that will be all over the UK before the biggest film of the summer comes out.

 

This is ridiculous. There is absolutely no fucking excuse for it. No doubt we won't get the toys until July either.

So sick of this bullshit.

 

So the country that contributes on average 10% of the total box office gross is made to wait for over 3 weeks. And competing on the same days as The Simpsons Movie! Well done Paramount. No wondered Sony, Disney and Fox beat you every year.

It looks like Paramount has really dropped the ball on this one.

 

If the choice is wait three weeks or watch a cropped, fuzzy, murky rip-off then there is no choice.

I agree with all of the above. In the UK putting it in the firing line of Barry Trotter and the Unneccisary Sequel (Although I will admit I have warmed to the series as its gone on), and the Simpsons Movie is just plain dumb. In part I understand moving it to the 6 week hols, but still....kids dont have free time in the evenings or weekends anymore?

 

that fucking sucks. its not like they need to change the language or anything. and they wonder why piracy is abundant?

 

Good thing I'm seeing it at Botcon. And maybe just maybe I'll see it a second time on the release day as well since I'm still in the US at that point.

It's damned annoying though, I can't understand why we get it so late, especially since this puts it into direct competition with two other big family movies.

How long has it been Paramount's policy to hire sleep-deprived monkeys with learning difficulties as regards deciding release dates?!

Gotta see it on the big screen though. Gonna be hard to get through the days between July 4th to July 27th without hearing pretty much everything about the film. Ah well...

Wow, you really believe all the lies about piracy? In the digital age, a pirate tends to be a One to One copy. Pirates aren't some guy holding up a video camera to the screen anymore- they get a hold of a reel or digital copy and copy it.

I'm not endorsing piracy with this post, I'm simply letting people know the truth. Companies against piracy use the most ridiculous lies to try and stamp it out.

 

Well that sucks big time, I will see this move sooo many times in the cinema but I don’t think I can hold out if there is another way to watch it.

we're clearly loved in the UK. Not only do we have to fork out twice as much for the toys, but we also get to see the bloody film 3 weeks after the rest of the known universe...

Also Just Been Told By A Friend Who Works For Argos That The Movie Figs Are In The Uk He Said Leader Prime And Some Of The Deluxe Figs Came In Today . Must Due Out Soon Once I Get Codes Ill Post Them Asap .
