Nice clean picture. Got my shipped one today, transformed it as far as I wanted to (keeping it in jet mode) to see that all the bits and pieces were there. Love this paint scheme in jet mode. Little disappointed that the shipping box had no padding, cause the box was a bit beat up. The one I got from the store is in a minty box, just hope the figure in there isn't missing anything if I ever decide to open it.

Ok. Part Deux of my MP-Screamer...

Happy to report that there were NO QC ISSUES FOUND! :rock  :rock  :rock

Even the usually jumpy tailfins stays flipped in place all the time and the tiny backwing-tabs actually stay tabbed-in properly now! These tiny backwing-tabs don't ever stay tabbed-in with my TC and my WalWarp.

Important note: Everything is really pretty tight. Especially the legs. So, try not to get scared or discouraged, but do try to be a bit mindful of the tightness when extending during transformations.

The QC on this Screamer is surprisingly pretty good! :jawdropper:

    It is not perfect, tho.

Yes. There are some flashes and stuff on the red plastic of the chest-area. You can see it on my pics. However, it's quite minor and irrelevant to me since I'm used to it even from SOCs and stuff.

Other than that, great job, Hasbro!

    At any rate...

I are happy with this purchase!

That's an awesome success story. And better yet, once you find a nice matching paint, you will actually have a leg up on everyone else who has the stock, unpainted codpiece. It drives me "nuts" (no pun intended) looking at my MP-11 SS and SW with no paint in the middle of the waist. Not a big deal with Thundercracker since he has basically no paint on his torso, anyway.

All three with matching bases looks really sharp! I wish I had the guts to wait it out for HasbroScream last year. I went with the Asia re-release MP11 and, while it's a good figure, the waist issue continues to bug me to no end. Had I known about it, I probably would have passed (especially at the asking price). Granted, I don't 'play' with it so the non-locking waist isn't the worst thing in the world, but posing him does become a real pain. Skywarp sealed the deal, when I saw how tight everything was on him. Hasbro SS seems to have nailed it, as long as the QC works out. Mine should arrive soon (TRU.ca). I'll do a good comparison, but may end up keeping MP11 anyway. I like the accessories, but had I known Hasbro's version would come out (there were rumours, of course...) I would have waited.

But enough about me: the four stands look great!

This thread has had over 2'000 posts, and ten times the views. Think we could motivate Hasbro to re-issue the other 2 seekers?

Anyone ever created a successful online petition? If you have time to post here, you have time to email Hasbro and say reissue Thundercracker and Skywarp.

It might be possible for Skywarp, but they "released" Thundercracker only 3 years ago via TRU.

the really dumb thing is, they went with a different more toyish wing stripe pattern for Thundercracker but went with the original MP-11 wing stripes for this release of Starscream. So even if they did do a Skywarp, it still wouldn't look like a completely matched set as TC will be the odd man out.

of course they could release TC with matching wing stripes and without the stupid tampographs that are not only NOT toy accurate, but objectively just... stupid. We'd probably buy it because we obviously treat seekers like crack.

seriously, those tampos are like TC got drunk one weekend and Skywarp tricked him into getting a reflector/soundwave tattoo and when he woke up he was all WTF...

Do you really think those 2 generate as much attention as Starscream does? The MP thundercracker thread only has half the views for instance.

Its almost turning into the classic seeker trio all aver again. Their paint schemes are all over the map. Still love them, but love my Takara classics much more as a cohesive group of seekers.

Did you figure out how to get the leg apart? In your picture, just below either knee, you can see a little square, I thinks it's a screw hole cover but I can't seem to get mine off so I can remove that screw to take apart the leg and fix the locking mech that slides the leg up and down.

Lol set up an email alert for the hell of it last week when complaining to an HR rep that Starscream wouldn't add to my cart despite being supposedly available for ship-to-home for quite a while.

This morning I got an alert for some Rescue Bot. :lol

Never saw him come back yesterday. Might still try refreshing today but I don't think I'll be getting him now..

Just adding in--got my Starscream in the mail from TRU, no QC issues. Chest is tight-ish, but not as bad as a friend of mine's. Flash every so often, but otherwise no problems, missing parts, two-right-knees, etc. Very happy to have him. :)

I just realized the fingers on both hands of mine were backwards. Easy fix though, just rotate them at the joint. Very happy that was the only thing wrong with mine. :D

Happy to report another QC issue-free buy. A few flashes on the side tail fins, but nothing beyond that.

The accessories are great, l love having SC float above the rest of my Decepticon MPs. Not my favorite MP by any stretch but a great addition.

    Common problems for TRU MP-Starscream:

    • Not in stock at TRU online.

    • Ship-to-Home is disabled.

    • Ship-to-Store is enabled, but not in stock in any TRU stores within 50miles of your zipcode.

    • Not in stock at your local TRU store.

Comparison pics with WalScream (my picture, from my ebay auction).

WalScream has so much more detail. But ToysRScream can stand up...

    Ebay:
Missing thumbs, hands, or two of the same hand.
Two of the same tail fins.
    Two of the same knee.
    Missing crotch plate.

That's most of what I have seen in this thread.
