I didn't want to say anything to spoil the surprise, before it was unveled, but... yep, this is the production version I've been subtly alluding to (by saying, "Hey guess what, I'm working on a production version"; subtle as ye like, me).

    I am a tad hyped. :D

Those extra photos looks sweet. Looks like it'll transform without partsforming then (not that I'm opposed to that)

Just quote my post, and then remove the QUOTE tags, and paste it on the first post. :thumbs2:

Or maybe the mods can help with it. :)

    Oh go on then...

Yes, I can confirm that, other than the accessories (and you haven't seen all of them yet, because they're not all finished or in those renders), Prime has zero partsforming, across all 3 modes.

Oh yes, did I forget to mention he can still combine, too? ;)

So basically, all the core, integrated parts are designed to have a place in all 3 modes, and to stay on during transformation.

There's also one thing that is not shown in those pics (because we haven't finished them yet), but which we're working on including in the final kit, and I think it will make a lot of people happy.

    Articulated hands... ;)

What a beautiful set! Nice work!
Now if only Hasbro could make a Prime for Generations that doesn't have ugly-ass arm kibble...

So, I'm assuming people approve? :p

The zero partsforming thing came about like this (as my original Shapeways kits partsformed like a mofo):

SND: "Can you do it with zero partsforming?"

Me: "Probably not." -a little later- "Actually, maybe, let me check." -later still- "Oh hell yes, I can and I must!" :p
