Monstructor. I love absurdly powerful beings, and Monstructor is essentially all Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse rolled into one, at least in IDW.

Voting purely out of nostalgia: Menasor. He was the only one I managed to complete as a kid.

Devastator will always stay at number one for me, but Bruticus comes in at a very close second. Honestly though, I just love combiners in general.

Menasor, I said this before when I was talking to someone about Transformer characters & I brought up the Stunticons. I mean they are all so different its surprise they get along so you could not believe they could work together as Menasor! Its a shame that I can't pick more than one cause I'd vote Defensor too cause well, Defensor is the best looking of the Autobot Combiners, the idea is awesome and Hot Spot would make a great Commander outside their respective teams. Oh and I wish we got more train combiners.

For me, it's because of the G1 cartoon Starscream's Brigade/Revenge of Bruticus.
Five characters take on both the Autobots AND Decepticons and nearly win. They DID take over all of Cybertron for awhile. That's pretty bad-ass.
Plus, that two-part story that introduced them really made me like and root for the characters. Decepticon version of the A-Team ftw.

How many other combiner teams got a two-part introductory episode? I am not sure (others would probably know), but I doubt there were many. For once, the Autobot counterpoint- the Protectobots- actually did NOT get an introductory episode due to some mix up or something (they just got short bits in the Combaticon's intro) if I recall correctly, while Bruticus got a two-parter. Which I loved. XD

Computron for nostalgia since he was the only one I had as a kid, and also his individual bot vehicles are freaking awesome looking.

Superion because he won me over as the first Good Guy combiner, and now that I'm in the Air Force, I have better perspective of how awesome it would be to see a squadron merge into a giant freaking robot.

Rail Racer by far! Badass design, and he wasn't a slow, hulking, stupid brute like most of G1 gestalts. Him and Ruination were awesome, and had some fun fights!

I voted for Bruticus, but Ruination is pretty awesome, too (the RiD one, not the Wrecker combiner).

Bruticus owns my ass, followed by Predaking and Devastator. Plus, my favorite character helps form Bruticus, so...

This was tough for me. Devastator is high on my list because of my love for the G1 line up, but his toy was pretty puny, and I passed on it as a kid.

While I absolutely loved the color palette of Piranacon and the Seacons, since he didn't really have any media, I didn't have any memories outside of cool boxart cemented in my head.

Had to go with Predaking. Though I only owned Headstrong and Divebomb, I had a friend that had the rest, so we were able to build him. The G1 Predaking was superior to Devastator, and I remembered how heavy and solid Headstrong was with all that diecast metal.

Nostalgia just wins out here. I'm surprised Bruticus has taken the lead.

Bruticus, he's the most visually varied. Predaking a close second.

Because he's the biggest and objectively has the most badass design. He's got built-in brass knuckles, an enormous sword, wings, gun feet, and like another member said, is made up of a zoo. Not to mention he has a friggin lion head on his chest.

Devastator's an instant fan-favorite because he was the first combiner. Superion was the first Autobot combiner and is made up of pretty much 75% of the G1 Autobot planes. Bruticus had two whole episodes dedicated to him and the team, he's armed to the teeth, is about as unstoppable a force as Predaking, is easily marketable to kids because military vehicles and evil robits go hand-in-hand, and because of the military theme, can be portrayed as an utter badass and relentless killing machine. The Combaticons themselves are also the most unique team in personality and color.

Bruticus is my favorite for the reasons above.
