Mine was, as are several others. No recent reports of Amazon sending out the older verson too. You're probably safe a they're very unlikely to have received additional wave 2 stock.

I ordered one for my son from Amazon.com about week ago and it is definetly fixed version.

Much better than old CW Optimus!

Weird thing - my first run CW Optimus' legs peg together tightly for combined mode and his arms hold TIGHT when folded up for the arm sockets. Dunno if I was lucky on that.

They appear to be sold out now, and with no preorder listed they might not be available anymore. Are there any other good solutions?

    Hi guys,

It looks like most of you guys are experts here, so I got a stupid question to ask.

I read somewhere that there are no 2nd batch of the regular prime for CW, but have also read that certain guys got a fixed version of regular prime from amazon.

I currently have 4 prime, I bought 2 yesterday, and upon reading about the 4xxxx or 5xxxx versions, I went and bought 2 more that I came across today (cuz I didn't know what I bought yesterday)

Anyhow, all 4 are 5xxxx, would there be a chance that these are the primes that potentially doesn't have the leg/hip issues??

    Thanks

I don't believe regular Prime has been rerun since the wave 1 version which had a 4xxxx code on the box and toy.

If you have a 5xxxx version, then can you take a high res photos of the back of the box please showing the date code and enough of the box that we can see it the red, not white, Prime. Might need to be two photos. The date code on the toy can be found on the inside of his right foot.

To the best of my knowledge it's only Motormaster and the white Battle Core Optimus that people have obtained fixed versions of from Amazon.

Ultimately red Prime is new territory for fixed hips so the only way you'll find out is popping the 5xxxx box open to see.

All 4 have the same 50051 code as you can see (on this one)

Also on the prime that I read someone got the "fixed" one, it doesn't sound like it wasn't the core prime, but the regular prime

    Interesting.

    50051 translates to 5th Jan 2015.

That's certainly a different code to the initial run of Primes (I can't tell you what that was, my box is in the loft) but since I had my Prime during late 14 it would have been 4xxxx. The toy code is 43001 (27th October 2014) but I can't tell you at the moment if that matches the box! (My new Motormaster does match the box)

It's between the two known dates for Motormasters.

Honestly can't say, you're into research teritory here so are going to have to pop one open and transform it to torso mode to know!

Definitively? No. Because nobody has yet proved the existence of a fixed Prime to my knowledge.

However I can tell you that that Op was manufactured 28 days after mine, which is a faulty one, and the same day as my original faulty Motormaster. So if I was a betting man I'd say that's probably a faulty one too as I can't see faulty Motormasters and fixed Primes coming out the factory on the same day.

thats what i thought, but i did read somewhere that someone bought a regular prime for his son through amazon, and it was a fixed on, i have been trying to find the post (it might be on a different forum lol)

I will post the link here once i post it, but if it was only 28 days apart, it's most likely faulty, just didnt want to spend 12 or so USD on the mod pieces, since i got the figure for a killer deal (that's why i bought it... along with 4 of the wave 4 for combination)

I won't be able to open it till x-mas, since i am giving it to my son as a surprise.... i am really looking forward to it too though :p

Just received my Motormaster from Amazon. Embossed number is 51881. Left hip was fixed, right hip was not.

My biggest grip is the knees being floppy as all get out when in combiner mode. I kinda fixed the floppy hips with nonnef (still kinda floppy but better). I also have the PE-04 upgrade.
Are the knees better in the takara and 5xxxxx models?

I don't actually care about the hips.
What I want is stronger knee so I can put it in combined fanmode without it collapsing if not careful

So are all Motormasters who were released in Battle core primes wave fixed? or is it just a hit and miss thing?

All are fixed with the exception of just one or two reported cases with one old hip. You're on pretty safe ground buying one now.
