Glad to hear it! Went to downtown Target for lunch they have 1 CW Hotspot, a few BJ and Rodimus there.
I managed to get a TRU MP Starcream in Missouri a few days ago. With that said I'm selling the Walmart MP complete-no box for $50 to a local that would like to have it. Just PM me if so.
If anyone is in need of Force Awakens 6-inch figures, there's a full set at the Walgreens by the Stadium Fred.
Anyone interested in MP-09? It's the Hasbro version, complete with all accessories, pretty sure I've got the instructions somewhere too. Nothing broken, only transformed once. PM me with a price if you're interested, I can go outside of the general Portland area if you pay the shipping but I prefer to sell it local.
Wen to Jantzen Beach TRU for shits and giggles. They have a bunch of CW wave 3 deluxes for 19.99 if anyone wants them for that much.
Haha yeah you can price match with Target I believe, but since they've been getting stuff slow been throwing my $ at Target.
You can price match to pretty much any store online at TRU -- Amazon (but not marketplace, has to be Amazon proper), Target, Fred Meyer, TRU itself, just to name a few. The one or two times a year I bother to buy anything at TRU I usually price match it On the slim chance I have to buy something there, I'd rather they get as little of my money as possible.
I'm not interested in 'em anyways. I'm Mister No Fun G1 Characters Only No Exceptions Guy afterall. I figured I'd throw it out if anyone is still looking for them. That's the first time I've ever seen them in stores myself.
Jantzen TRU has a set of Combiner Wars Deluxe Wave 3, along with an extra First Aid, and pegs upon pegs of those RID exclusives, if anyone is looking for them. They also had a few Hot Spots. Jantzen Target has nothing really. Star Wars Black The Force Awakens 6" wave 2 are starting to hit the area as well, if anyone collects those. I know Rogue Toys is expecting a shipment of 6" Black figures, I believe they said on Facebook they just have Rey for now with more coming in. They also apparently got in a nice Transformers collection a few days ago if anyone wants to go take a look: https://www.facebook.com/RogueToysP...6973192418508/838958469553313/?type=3&theater Their prices when I went in awhile back were really, really good (a good bit under eBay) so you might be able to find some deals! They've got some kind of Rubix Cube challenge where you can save money at checkout too.
Fred Meyer behind Portland TFAW has one Hot Spot CW voyager. Clackamas TRU has one Blackjack and like 6 Masterpiece Bluestreaks. They also have tons and tons of those RID exclusive figures. Happy Valley Wal-Mart has got nothing.
I was out and about Monday after doing RCCC stuff and dropped friend off then went to Beaverton TRU for giggles cause I had not stepped in that store I think in a year. I managed to score all of the protectobots, including legends groove. They had a few other figures like cyclonus I think and a couple hot rods. Otherwise not much of shut. I guess I got very lucky!
Westside TRU had 2 MP Starscreams. Just one case today. I bought one. Good QC on this one. There might be another one still there. They were sitting at customer service desk for some reason and I spotted them on the way out of the store. Good luck!
Nearly every time I come across MP figures there they'll be sitting at the CS counter like "some dumb adult is gonna be looking for these better keep them by the entrance"
Probably because Toys R Us seemed to realize that their main customer base are now comprised of mostly scalpers so they cater their business toward serving them. It makes absolutely no sense from a business point of view to sell unpopular figures (goat soundwave, goat optimus...) at high price and popular figures (mp soundwave, mp starscream, mp grimlock) at low price. The people who would mostly benefit from such business practice are scalpers. Because of the strength of the US dollars, I just import my transformers from Japan now to save money and time. Just got tired of playing Hasbro and Toys R Us ' silly toy hunting games.
Mall 205 Target has got nothing good for Transformers. They seem pretty wiped out. They do have a couple of the Marvel Legends Target exclusive three pack left (Vision, Hulk, Ultron) in the backroom and the final wave of Mattel's DC Multiverse line minus Deathstroke though.
So what are people's opinions on the new MP Starscream? I've got the older one and am having a tough time justifying replacing it. Thoughts?
