Universe Perceptor, while not a beloved figure, is superior in pretty much every way to this figure. I have the black version, and while it looks nice enough it is reaaaally delicate-feeling. And doesn't have much of an alt mode to speak of.

Yeah, I like it. I got it for the black recolor though.

I just wasn't impressed. My black ones for sale. Less than retail, mib.

I love the mold, amazing articulation and detail, but the plastic quality ruins everything

It wasn't very perceptorish and it was too small. And it was $60-$70. :thumbdown

I don't like the cannon arm thing because it doesn't lock into place and is fragile. Also, not a fan of the proprietary hands. I'm hoping they don't use those on the sharks…

That said, since people have said the plastic quality improved with Mugan Vox, I'm thinking about picking up the Surgeon.

I got the Amputare set, and really like them. They're more like dynamic 1/12 (well 5") action masters/revoltech, but like any ball joints, they do get loose. Respect to Chimungmung, he got me a complete body replacement as the head was glued down and the scope wheel was missing.

It was kinda neat this mold was being used for everything. Not that I'd get them all, but just seeing this repainted as other TF is refreshing. Like repainting something you'd never consider with a particular mold. Otherwise what Custom Robots is doing is prolly far better.

If there wasn't so much I wanted, I'd consider another variant. Price wise it ain't too bad when you look at everything else. You get two, and that works out equivalent to the Mech Ideas jumpstarters or iGear minis I think.

I haven't even transformed them yet.

I got the distinct impression that this toy was downsized from what it was designed to be. If it had been a bit bigger, it would be sturdier.

I got the Surgeon version cheap at AA the other year. I honestly was not all that impressed with it. Nice looking toy, but quality was not amazing.

I like Amputare a lot, seems to bbe the most solid use of the mould that I have.

I have the teal one, which I got in the two pack with the blaster remold. The blaster seems adequate, although it feels cheap. On the scope figure, the platform the head sits on tears up the plastic on the inside when I try to transform it, so it's an action master now.

Shame such a fantastic looking mold is dogged by such shoddy plastics and QC.

I have the Amputare version for my shockwave collection but rather want this one for my IDW collection.

Yes. Absolutely. I paid the same price for one that was loose! (Although, mine was the teal version with the extra heads. I think this is the original version with the blue on it.)

A good deal at that price, yes.

Is it this one? Transformers KFC Eavi Metal Mugen Scope Perceptor Comes 1 Extra Head | eBay

I bought the same one. It comes with all four heads and it's Ace's Toys Store/Daelite's new eBay sales account. Getting rid of their leftover stock. Mine was packed well and shipped fast, so you're good to go. Feedback's excellent, too.

I just picked this guy up today. I already have Fanstoys Tesla, but for my Wreckers display, that figure was just too enormous compared to the likes of Generations Springer, CW Ultra Magnus and Fansproject Assaulter, so I was hoping that Mugan Scope would come in about head height with MMC Spartan. I’ll admit I was a little disappointed to find he’s not much bigger than the Mech Ideas Jumpstarters, but he’s all there is for now… unless anyone knows of any other Perceptor figures that would come in at the height I’m after?
