This is kind of a weird question really but we all saw the scene where Megatron transfers his mind to the Galvatron drone using the chromosomes. So that means then it was pretty clear Megatron transferred his mind to Galvatron supposedly prior to the start of the movie, so if that was the case then why didn't Megatron take full control of the Galvatron drone during his fight with Optimus? After the fight had finished he obeyed KSI's orders and retreated back to base. If Megatron was in full control why didn't go rouge after the fight?
Seed. Let Lockdown get Prime. Savoy collects the seed. Seed is brought to Joshua In factory. Let the prize come to you.
It's interesting, could chromosomes affect to alive TFs? Probably not because Brains is safe, And WHAT are they actually? Materialized Megatron's thoughts or just pieces of his genome?
Galvatron was merely pretending to follow the human's orders for the most part. He still did some things on his own, but not enough for them to initially believe he was the Decepticon leader reborn. Galvatron wanted the humans to think he was a drone.
I think they were just carriers of information. They were probably just moving bits of Megatron's mind over to the new body, like how bees pollinate flowers.
The chromosomes are simply just Decepticon carriers. If you remember they appeared in Revenge of the Fallen when the Decepticons sent one to try and track where Sam and Mikaela were hiding in Egypt. In AOE they are more or less the same thing except Megatron is using them to transfer his mind over to Galvatron as he his just simply immobile.
I just can't help but think how fantastic it would have been for Megatron to turn into Galvatron the way Animated Megs' new body showed up, you know, hands and wires and shit ripping through the floor whilst Megs' head re-formats into Galvatron's.
Just been watching the movie today and I still don't get if Megatron transferred his mind to Galvatron prior to the start of the movie (when we saw the flashback with Brains) why didn't he the full control of Galvatron in the fight with Optimus???? Bit strange really?
he did had control, he was tricking Joyce and the others to think they were, theres some parts in that scene that indicate that Galvatron was in control of the situation.
Because the seed was on it's way to Joyce anyway, it's what happened in the movie. Galvatron can simply take a few steps to get it rather than get it from Lockdown.
He did have control, there is a bit where prime disintegrates his sword into Galvatrons chest and he speaks about not having soul, so he slips out of control of the humans, momentarily to show optimus he is back in a new body, then slips back under human control to help maintain the plan of gaining control of the seed later in the movie
Ehhhhh....this is up for much debate. I believe Galvatron has control the entire time he is in that scene from the moment he transforms the first time. This is made clear by his rampage through the civilian cars, constant growling, and lack of care for innocent bystanders. On top of this the soldier says the have control "mostly" in a worried tone. My thought was that Galvatron was being given orders by the command center on what to do and he simply acted as if they were controlling him. This is until he lets all his rockets fly and completely goes berserk chasing Prime. Their entire fight (be it short) in robot mode is also heavily revealing to Megatron's control and not the humans. Just look at his fighting style, it is the exact moves he uses in the other movies.
Yeah, but why is he calling himself Galvatron ? Because the humans gave him this name, and Megatron usually doesn`t take orders from humans or someone else.
i dont think the insecticons/chromosomes were what transferred his mind, i think they just infected and made the body ready for him to control. hell, it may be possible that his mind is actually still housed in his original head and he is just mentally controlling the galvatron body
YES! I was hoping someone else would mention this. What if Megatron's mind and soul are still trapped back in the head and he is only remote controlling Galvatron. I think that would be a great plot point. Thus the autobots need to fight to completely destroy Meg's head while Galvatron is trying to fend them off. It's like Davy Jone's heart, except in a robotic head form.
