i get that those clear pieces are to create blackarachnias chest but damn they are out of place in spider mode.

 

Got all of them pre-ordered.

This is my anticipating face. I'm anticipating them. So much.
And this coming from someone who hated Nightbird. Still do. Still hate any fan who even tries to see she was a Transformer. But that toy? I really like how that toy looks. And got her bio already in my head for my own universe.

The other two are very very very welcome as well. More so than Nightbird in that I already liked the characters from prior incarnations/fiction, and like the molds they're retooled from.

Sad that I'm going to be saving them for myself for X-Mas, waiting so long, but...still....they look great.

 

Definitely down for Nightbird and Slipstream.
I'm an IDW collector primarily, but I've always loved Nightbird so I'll have to pick her up. Slipstream's a character with a lot of potential too.

 

If they don't sell out and become stupidly expensive on the aftermarket, then I would probably snag these gals in an instant.

Nope, it's plugged into her back, you can see the rope going down her arm to the back.

 

Going with Slipstream. Looks really cool.

I'm excited for all three figures, but I wish they'd change Slipstream's face. She looks...pleasant. I'd rather she have more of a mean, condescending look.

 

The moral of the story is that we're so tired of CW repaints that we're willing to pay double for something different which just happens to still be repaints.

Um, all three have extensive remolding. Really, look at photos. They show you things.

Blackarachnia is a definite buy. Slipstream and Nightbird are still maybes. If they fixed the heel issue for Slipstream that Windblade had I might be more willing to bite.

 

You clearly dont know what you are talking about and are just here to stir up a fuss. Most combiner wars toys are redecos with new heads (or not) while very few (I doubt more than 5) are extensive retools. And worse, in combiner wars, they are using redecos/retools to give us characters we already got. Every single one of these takara toys is either of a toy we have never gotten or never gotten in the classics line, and heavily remolded. Its basically a subscription service toy but at half the price (when importing them yourself). And thats amazing!

Why does everyone make Hasbro like the devil in this? Just because they can make figures repaints doesn't mean they have to be ridiculed like crazy.

This statement is stupid. Wanna know why? Repaints and remolds are two different things. Repainting means you change the paint on the figure. Remolding is molding different parts and adding on or removing parts off of a figure. You seem to think they're the same thing when they aren't.

 

I don't have the funds at the moment, and I'm not sure how my parents'll react to the whole pre-order thing.

 

With the quotes that were made earlier, I was wondering if apple & orange are actually different kind of fruits. (For a moment I thought I was being taught the wrong stuffs since young & that alone would have me raging!)
