Ok i haven't opened my Motormaster yet, but since i got him while he was on the shelf with Silverbolt, i assume I have the "defective" one....so guess I just swap him out when I see him sitting next to Nova Prime?

That being said, got Combiner Optimus on layaway with Devastator (he's expensive)...question is, hips or no hips, does Maximus look better with the white or red? was going to go by whatever was in the IDW books.....but apparently they cant make up thier minds!

I think I've made my point clearly with this specific case and further discussion will just waste everybody's valuable time. Hopefully the majority of you out there who haven't found MM yet can pick up a fixed version and enjoy it.

Went shopping to both of my local TRU's...they had Motormasters but they're the old non-revision wave ones.

You got the wrong version, then. But, your effort will not be for nothing! Buy Nonnef's Hip Ratchets to solve this problem!

Well, they are only five dollars for a set of two. Or, you can spend even more money for Unite Warriors Menasor, whose Motormaster has fixed hips.

You can get them at Nonnef's official website. Also, I do recommend you watch Vangelus' V-Build/review on these to figure out how to install them.

Unfortunately, Nonnef's making hip ratchets for Hot Spot. They won't be the same piece as the ones made for Silverbolt/Cyclonus/Scattorshot and Optimus Prime/Motormaster, but they will be the same concept.

Ah I thought they were the same Ratchets and were used thru out all the CW Voyagers.

My second Motormaster is here. A 5????? code on the box so I knew it was a good one before opening it.

The legs are sooooo much better now in combined mode, rock solid with decent balance.

Don't think the chest pegs are any better, not to the extent of Battle Core Op.

It might be Quality Control Roulette but the shoulders are miles better on my new one compared to the plasticine of my original CW Motormaster.

Anyone want to buy a slightly used Wave 2 CW Motoromaster ? ;-)

Cheers Phil. If that's the case, I guess mine is arriving on Wednesday then. Sadly I'm off work (where it's being delivered) on Wednesday and for the rest of the week, so I'll have to pick them up from work next week. Something to look forward to I suppose!

Found the date code on the toy itself: it's on the inside of his left (our right) foot. Again starts with a 4 for a faulty one, 5 for a fixed one.

Does anyone know if the version on Amazon currently is the improved MM?
