What a tf game should not have been is a stupid slow motion based hack and slasher ala bayonetta. Just for that stupid ******ed slow motion bs we lose online play. If it was more like anarchy reigns combined with vanquish we could have had online (imagine 64 player lobbies) of Autobots vs DECEPTICONS (fuck playing Autobots) who you can't even choose. The stages have no meaning at all instead of being a battle ground where you can hide, evade and use the stage to your advancement.

Of course my opinion and something that could have made this much better than it is. I don't get a tf game with only 5 playable characters that are all Autobots. It's just stupid beyond imagination.

 

Well, as I love Bayonetta games, I'm still thrilled with this. Even if I won't get to play it until December now in all likelihood.

Based on the recent Motormaster trailer. It sounds like Richard Epcar is Motormaster.

 

No interesting VA info. He could only discuss characters who were announced. He mentioned the guy doing Starscream doing a very admirable job of replicating Latta.

 

Was anything said about a collectors or limited edition version of the game with some interesting extras?

Oh and do the five selectable Autobots all have their well known weapons as default?

I'd have been okay with Blum doing Starscream after Prime.

 

I don't know about their starting weapons. I saw Primes rifle, axe and he had a grenade launcher. There were 4 fire arms available selectable by a different direction on the D-pad. I only really saw melee with Sideswipe and his rocket. Grimlock was using his sword and double barrel gun, I also saw his flame breath. All the weapons are swapable. Like Borderlands the higher the difficulyt the better the loot.

Hasbro and Activision are going the cheap and lazy route again so for some who loves a game with replay value and still has WFC this is a Redbox rental at best. Or I'll just skim through someone playing it on youtube.

While I profoundly disagree with those suggesting a Bayonetta-like game is "cheap" or "lazy" (seriously, they're pretty content-rich games... it's just a different kind of content instead of large open levels and lots of playable characters,) calling someone's subjective tastes and standards shitty isn't cool.

People have the right to dislike a thing.

That said... personally... I too am very excited.   Though I'll have to get it a lot later than release, sadly.

There are people (you) that would enjoy a tf game by their selves. Others (me) would enjoy it more if we could enjoy it with more people. And if not multiplayer at the very least being able to chose both factions and a LOT more bots than these here.

 

DLC will fix the problem of more playable characters. And I bet PC modders will find a way to mod the Decpeticons as playable.

You mean the dlc face swaps nobody cares about, and the super live modding community on consoles? I'm not saying this game is shit, just saying it could have been way better even as a bayonrtta clone and soo much better as a different kind of game. No need to keep defending this game like you got money riding on it.

Also pre order bonuses and dlc practice's are what's wrong with the industry and what's ruining gaming in general. It seems you are part of that problem, because you seem like a supporter of bs business tactics.

 

I'm not a supporter of said tactics, yet you think I'm part of the problem. Yeah, nice job putting a label on me, even though I have no DLC enabled games in my library of games (which is small, I still got a Wii).

Remember those weapons that come with those "useless skins"? Those are unique to those skins. Remember, some skins in games have some sort of bonus attached to them. They're like perks. Nice job showing to us that you are the most entitled when coming to this game.
