does Phasma have a female voice? It may seem like a stupid question but since they don't seem to be making a big deal out of the fact that it's a woman under the armor I wondered if they were even going to say that it is a woman under the armor. They could also give it a male voice (like through a vocoder) and then take the helmet off and bam big reveal that it is a woman (and maybe not a bad guy/girl)

Helmet toy has Gwendolyn's voice, not some generic dude. I'm assuming they're not making a deal out of it because of them taking a neutral stance in gender issues.

This is making me want to go back to a Star Wars costume for Halloween.

Honestly, I have been thinking about it too since I could pull off a pretty good Han.

I've been my 3rd and 2nd Favorite characters my past Halloweens. 3rd Favorite General Grievous and 2nd Favorite Darth Vader twice. But I've never been my number 1 favorite character ever. The thing is I tried on one last year. It fit me well, just a little tight on the belly, but the problem was the price, it was even on sale on November 1st. But now, I'm pondering over finding that costume again and seeing if I can fit it now. Should I be my absolute favorite Character, Boba Fett.

When in doubt and in debt, go as a jedi, sith, or smuggler.

For Han, I already have a similar shirt, so I would just need the right boots or his vest or Empire Strikes Back jacket. I already have an idea for the Corellian bloodstripe too.

"Echoes in the Force tell of a lost Padawan who trained a boy in the ways of a Jedi. He was seduced by the dark side, much like my father... That boy became the man you know as Kylo Ren." - Luke Skywalker

It's "he tell me" but there's a possible grain of truth... Driver does look like an older version of that character.

We'd have to wait and see.

    I don't think that's a sound theory, if we're talking about
Erza Bridger.... He'd be over 50 by the time The Force Awakens starts, if it really is 30 years after the end of ROTJ. Adam Driver is much too young looking for that.

My dad befriended a couple of people in the advertising circles in Hollywood via the convention circuit. This is supposedly a voice-over by Luke Skywalker in the next trailer.

I'm taking this with the grainiest of salts.

But with that said about Ezra's age... Palpatine was a younger actor playing an older man. Who's to say Ren will even take the mask off?

Not at all calling confirmation on this one.

    Skeptical, but hopeful. Doubtful though.

Well, there have been images of Kylo released without the mask on, for Vanity Fair. Compared to Captain Phasma, who's had no pictures with her mask off.

Found This one and this one on Google Images. I doubt that they'd do a photoshoot with the mask off if he doesn't take it off in the film.

Information on Kylo Ren's identity has already been revealed through shooting, production and leaks.
    He's not Ezra.

    I like it!

    \m/

Haha, glad to see so many of you like the idea! I've been waiting to see something like that in ANY of the Star Wars media for ages. I'm not exactly holding my breath waiting for it anymore, but I've always thought it would be a really interesting way to expand upon the original movies and a neat new direction to take the story.

    Maybe someday!

I mostly just wanted to post it somewhere so I could link back to it later if it ever DOES happen, lol.

    ;)

Always a ray of sunshine, lol.

And so what if it does?

We ARE talking about the franchise that brought us laser swords, a fat guy named Porkins, and PEW! PEW! PEW! laser blasts in the vacuum of space, after all.

If you can't even allow STAR WARS some room for whimsy and fantasy for children of ALL ages then you're pretty much dead inside.

Pour your six year old self a drink and relax a bit, man!

    :)

You're falsely equating two different concepts within the movie.

Anakin wanted to save his loved ones from dying in the physical world, which obviously IS unnatural. Yoda was discussing "immortality" in terms of carrying on AFTER death as a disembodied force-ghost.

    There we go!

    This guy gets it.

    :)

So how many times do you intend to watch Ep. 7 when it comes out? I will for sure be there opening day/night. The plan on waiting a few days because I know I will miss hearing something during the movie with the expected whooting and yelling during some scenes. I also picture someone spoiling the movie while exiting the theater just like Homer Simpson does with Empire.
