There are no corrected red Optimus.

The Optimus with the right hips is the white battle core Optimus.

If your shop has no Motormasters, and then has Motormasters alongside the white Battle Core Optimus then it'll be the corrected hip one

Follow the link on my quote and you'll see I was complaining about the hips on April 16th. :D

And here I am complaining about it on the original Optimus mold in January:
It was a glaring problem from the start.

And can we never, ever say the word "entitlement" ever again? Every time somebody uses it, it comes across as "I don't like what you said, and I don't have a real argument against you, so here's this buzzword that makes you look bad". It's super lazy writing/debating.

Nonnef Hip Ratchets. Buy them, use them. Hope you kept those springs, because they won't work unless you have those springs!

Nonnef is the one and only solution to bow legs.

Well, I guess that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. You're not a thief, although a liar in the first case. I'm ok with being a liar in that example, because Hasbro was the thief by selling me a shit product and they had my money.

Now, many months later, they re-release what they should have released all along and expect customers who bought the first one to stand by, or worse, shell out twice as much for the same damn product?

    No, that won't do either.

You know that no retailer unless it's Walmart (and the product is sealed) will give an exchange over that period of time. They wiil say "take it up with Hasbro"....and we know the answer from Hasbro wil be "sorry dude, go buy the new one".

So if we're going to argue semantics, great: I'm a liar. But Habro is the thief. So I'd rather be a liar than a theif in some small degree, rather than be f'd over by the thief Hasbro. And like I said, you swap your faulty product and return it to the store (like a Walmart) and say "it's broken", which it is. They send it back to Hasbro.

And the ultimate thief pays the price of selling a shit product to start with.

Now I ask you again: who's the real loser in this situation?

Supposedly. Does anyone have a picture of the original Motormaster box to confirm?

When you got the product and realized it was defective did you return it? No.
Have you called Hasbro to see if they will swap the product for you? No.
Have you called the store you bought it from(despite it being well past their return date and you not returning it in the first place when you knew it was defective) and asked them if they would swap it? No.

This isn't opinion - this is fact. You are promoting taking advantage of others(whether 'others' is a business entity or a person) and costing them money for your own personal benefit. That's a thief. You are taking a product that you purchased and returning for a refund a product you are claiming was the product you just purchased. That's a liar.

I have the first MM. While the hips aren't great. They work for standing there but that is about it. Nonnef has a $5 fix that is hardly more than the gas and time it would take to go and be a thief and a liar.

You make your choice. But don't deceive yourself. The choice is between being a thief and a liar...and being a man/woman of integrity. But if you are so committed to the former....and think it's totally okay in your book...then let us all know that is what you did. I'd very much like to know what kind of person you are in case I ever make the mistake of wandering into one of your sale threads or auctions on ebay.

YES! Motormaster is in the wave 4 Voyager case with Battle Core Optimus.

This post was made in the Battle Core Optimus thread:

    Meanwhile:

The first number is the year, so 4 is 2104, 5 is 2015

The next 3 numbers are day of the year.

So from the post above 4332? is the 332nd day in 2014, November 28th

51881 is the 188th day in 2015, the 7th July.

Another easy way to tell the difference....is if the Battlecore Optimus Primes are with the Motormasters, since the Motormaster figure wasn't very common in where I live, it shouldn't be too difficult for me to find.

Ummm...I actually did all of those things in the first paragraph. You should probably ask more questions before coming to your incorrect conclusions. I did all those things, and, surprise surprise, was basically told I was out of luck. But I did return it, told the clerk it was defective for the reasons I believed it was, and the clerk said (and these are her exact words), "This isn't broken, you're just too picky". So I got my refund, but they put my MM back on the shelf the following day. I know it was mine because of the scuffs on the packaging, and the fact he was quite hard to find. And he was sold by the time I returned next week. Who's the thief here, again?

I ordered Takara's Menasor and love the set, so I'm not going to bother with the Hasbro offering. But if I were, and the same thing happened, I would use my original course of action. I'm not about to let Hasbro or Walmart cheat me out of my purchase because of their ineptitude.

As far as what kind of person I am? Are you serious? When you come down from your Ivory Tower, shoot me a PM and we can have an actual discussion about that.

Here are my two package numbers.

    Original sloppy jointed Motormaster 43291
New tight as a tiger Motormaster 43291

Same boxes but I bought them 3 months apart. Did I just get a better one or did they start a change way back before we realized it?

You may wish to change the narrative but your previous post puts the truth to it. You stated you were okay with lying and cheating the store. If being a person who will not lie to or cheat someone and calling wrong those who will is sitting in an ivory tower then brother you can forward my mail to 101 Ivory Tower Lane.

The store clerk wasn't lying. You are being picky. Very picky, to be a bit more correct. You are pretty much promoting the act of toy swapping, an action which is ridiculed by many people here. There was an alternative, you know. It's called Nonnef Productions. He has hip ratchets. You ignored that chance, completely, just to make a silly rant for no reason whatsoever. That store clerk was right all along. You are too picky.

Just a question for everyone who did get the Battle Core wavemate variant: Is the forward / back motion tighter on it to where Menasor can actually hold up his legs out in front of / behind him? Apparently mine was not only a floppy mess, but me going in to tighten it up with filler worked TOO well and ground the ratchet teeth flat and reassembly warped the plastic around the torso pin, so now Menasor can only stand in place "stock-straight".

Would rather use the $25 on Cyclonus if all I get out of the proposition is a 'reset' instead of an improvement beyond outward hip movement.
