I got this set of oversized KOs of Igear's Spray (Seaspray) from sirtoys.com. It comes as you see here, a set of three with 2 guns each. Being ko's the plastic is of course inferior and somewhat translucent/thin in places. White paint is chipping/peeling. Articulated at the shoulders, elbows, waist, thighs, knees and ankles (some of these are particularly loose making him harder to stand up). Hollow forearms are ugly! In vehicle mode he doesn't really peg together tightly, it's fine if it is just laying on a table but pick it up and it starts to fall apart. Guns can peg onto the top as shown. Does not roll as there are no wheels on the bottom. Now admittedly the colors are quite wacky but with some part switching and slight painting you can get these: This is much better, you have a swapped colors Seaspray (maybe good as a Shattered Glass version), a G1 cartoon color representation and a ghostly "Flying Dutchman" - too bad it doesn't glow in the dark! Here he is with the Hasbro HFTD Seaspray and Maketoys Hover: With his fellow Season 2 Minibots: Ahoy mateys!
In the KO's defense, the original didn't tab together in vehicle mode either. I may have to pick this set up, as I'm not fond of the original igear's size. Good review
Nice...this would be great if I didn't already move away from Deluxe Class minibots...is Hover the size of the current legends...???...
Thanks! I didn't get the original Spray but wish they upscaled some of their earlier figures like him as well as Rager (Huffer). Hover is around the size of the Universe 2.0 era Legends so he is shorter than the current Generations Legends. But even for the earlier Legends he's a shorty!
