Custom Transformers Ironhide (scratch built) WIP This is my latest project. The base was a cheep toy car (something like a jeep Cherokee or hummer turned monster truck). For the robot body I will be using various KO TF and Lego joints and recycled PVC. The concept for Ironhide is taken after Colonial Marines, Gears Of War type armored soldiers At this point all I have done is the front section of the car that turns in to the shoulders and attach to the front windows. Also I have some of the back of the torso and the crotch done. The windshield will form the chest and the neck ball joint is on a hing that will stor the head in the front of the cab
Update torso I built the torso for Ironhide today. It is comprised of two peaces, the back peace folds up to the back of the truck and contains the crotch, as showcased in the previous thread. The front peace is attached to the chest / windshield and folds up to be parallel to the back part. The front bull bars are connected to the chest and front grill via small holes and peaces of paper clips. I have him standing on a pair of hero factory legs. Hope you all like it so far
