You could probably do something with Darth Vader's corruption of the heart/change to the Dark Side or with his change of heart/redemption moment where he kills the Emperor.

I'm interested in seeing which worlds get used for KH3, but I'm still of the opinion that I just want KH3 already and then I'm ready to be done with it all.

If you did that though.. you'd pretty much have to do completely original, thus ignore the movies, or do all six movies in one world.

Sora, Goofy, and Donald enter a new world. There they find Heartless terrorizing a nearby city, led by what appears to be a green, hulking monster. They find a man in red and gold armor fighting the beast, only to get injured. They race to help him. He introduced himself as Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man...Sora and his friends have no idea who this is, but offer their help. Tony is offended they don't know him, but allows their help. He doesn't question why Donald is a duck and Goofy is a dog, because let's face it, no one does in Kingdom Hearts.

Iron Man explains that two criminals, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, plus his robotic creation, Ultron, are on the loose and that Scarlet Witch plus some weird hooded figure were seen messing with his friend's mind, turning him into the rampaging Hulk. Brief moment of techno-babble to explain what Ultron is. Sora doesn't understand (kid can barely grasp computer programs. Robots made of alien AI are WAY past his IQ) Iron Man, annoyed with the key swinging kid, shortens the explanation. "Ultron is my 'creation.' Sora is shocked that something so seemingly evil could be so connected to a good guy...

    Iron Man joins the party!

The four (three in gameplay) fight their to Hulk and we have a fun boss fight where you defeat/calm him down. If Square wants to make the worlds feel more alive, crowds of people start yelling at Bruce Banner, who is ashamed of what he did while as the Hulk. They're scared, and angry, and that's a bad combo.

Despite just meeting him (and with a bad first impression at that), Sora rushes to defend Bruce, saying that he's a good guy with a good heart. Whether or not he calms down the crowd is unimportant. Bruce appreciates his kindness. If Square doesn't want to make a crowd, then Bruce can still feel super guilty only for Sora to try and cheer him up.

The five regroup with Captain America and Thor. Tony introduces Sora and his friends, only to pull away as he gets a call. Ultron and his cronies have been spotted in Avengers Tower, the base of the Avengers. He's trying to use files in Stark's database to create something new. The heroes race off to stop him in the Quinjet. Sora asks if he can drive. Everyone says no.

The group arrives at Avengers Tower and Sora and his friends run forward. Fight fight fight.

Iron Man and Sora find Ultron, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver messing with a weird metal coffin thingy, with someone inside. Iron Man technobabbles, Sora barely follows and rushes forward, shooting a beam of light from his keyblade at the three. They all dodge it and the beam instead hits the coffin, filling it with energy and light. It begins to shake, glow, and smoke as Sora and Iron Man take on Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.

As they fight, Sora notes how Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch don't seem evil...He thinks about how Riku made some bad choices, but was still forgiven. Iron Man is about to knock out an injured Quicksilver, only for Sora to stop him to everyone's shock. The young boy tries to appeal to the two's goodness. To put it shortly, tt works, to Tony's annoyance/disbelief.

All the same, Ultron has escaped and the coffin has been forced open. Within it rises a red skinned man. Everyone is shocked, save for Sora. He thinks its cool. Cap, Thor, and Bruce are all outraged by this development, but Sora stands up the guy, as does Tony. The entity names itself Vision and thanks Sora for the energy he needed to come to life.

Scarlet Witch reveals Ultron's master plan. To drop a really big rock (I haven't seen the movie in a while).

The group take the Quinjet once more to face Ultron and his army of robots and Heartless. Meanwhile, Ultron is being shown Vision, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver all standing against him by a hooded figure. He is P.Oed. The hooded figure smiles, offering Ultron an 'upgrade' to make him capable of destroying all of them. Ultron accepts.

The heroes arrive at the flying city and fight against the army of Heartless and robots. Fight fight fight. Iron Man tries to techno-babble/explain what they need to do to save the city, but Vision has already flown off to do his part as the others fight the horde of monsters. He sighs as he joins them.

Suddenly, Ultron appears, infused with the power of Darkness. Sora tries to appeal to Ultron's heart, knowing that beings like Ultron can still have Hearts. Ultron laughs at the boy, calling him naive.

He tries to destroy the group, starting with the wildcard: Sora. Quicksilver takes the blast for the young boy, much to the horror of the others.

The Avengers and Sora's gang fight Ultron, with the others taking on his army as Sora's party fight Ultron. After the first defeat, Ultron goes into full anime villain mode. He enters his final form, his body made of his robot army and stone. The giant Ultron prepares to destroy the heroes as the city falls.

Cue epic fight. I don't know what the combat in KH3 will be like exactly, so I don't know how, but I can see Vision/Scarlet Witch/any of the other Avengers giving support to the party. In the end, the city is saved and Ultron is destroyed.

As the heroes celebrate the victory and mourn those lost, Sora sees the hooded figure. The being takes off their hood, revealing Isa/Young Xehanort/Terranort.

Sora thinks about how someone like Ultron had a heart and yet still chose hate, rage, and darkness...and yet someone like Hulk/Bruce is all about rage, and he still fought to help people. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch had hearts of anger and rage and almost chose to be like Ultron, and yet Quicksilver died a hero, and Scarlet lives as a hero. Vision was born just hours ago, and he chose to be good.

Maybe there's a way to save Isa, Terranort and/or Young Xehanort?

    ------------------------

That certainly went longer than I had meant. Oh well. Is it perfect? Oh, dear no. But considering I wrote it all up in a few minutes, it ain't too awful, I like to think. It relates to themes in the story and foreshadows the redemption of characters.

Granted, I did have to exclude some things out. Jarvis is left ambiguous, Thor didn't have a vision, and Black Widow and Hawkeye were left out, but that's how I imagine it could be done decently.

Some other changes you could do is keep Quicksilver alive or keep Ultron's 'city-dropping' plan to New York, using the powers of darkness instead of technology to lift the city. Just some ideas.

Still isn't exactly how I'd do it. I like Captain America more, but Iron Man is being treated as Marvel's MAIN hero nowadays, so there you go.

Anyone want to give their thoughts, go ahead.

    TL;DR

Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were bad and became good. Hulk is angry and stereotypical 'dark,' but is still a hero. Vision was born without a heart, and yet still chose to be good and act like a stereotypical 'light' character.

Maybe Sora thinks that Terranort, Isa, or Young Xehanort could be saved or helped after seeing so many turning good. Maybe its just a reminder of how Nobodies are capable of growing hearts and have every right to live, since Nobodies and Vision are similar in a few ways(yeah, Sora knows that lesson, but Donald could use a lesson, and that's not considering Riku or another Keyblade wielder arriving in the city with Sora).

    Just a thought.

All the Star Wars/Marvel speculation is nice, but the video game rights for the various properties are held by companies besides Disney Interactive and Square-Enix so I find them highly unlikely inclusions. Toy Story is the most likely since it almost ended up in KH2 (though ultimately rejected by Disney due to the impending Pixar purchase).

I'm still holding out for the Muppets. And I expect a Monsters, Inc. or Cars level where Sora & co. take on new forms. Frozen seems like a foregone conclusion. I'd also like to see something that's not at the top of everyone's list like Jungle Book (also almost made it in) or Rescuers or perhaps something from Disney Afternoons (Duck Tales, Gargoyles, Ch-ch-ch-chip and Dale, Rescue Rangers?)

I want either Darkwing Duck or Gargoyles in Kingdom Hearts. Preferably both.

As much as I love DW, I don't feel it fits KH story. Toy Story or Gargoyles is my pic. If they do Frozen, I think a massive re-write is needed.

You say that like Square-Enix hasn't rewritten the stories of the Disney worlds before.

I can see Goliath being a summon. Hold that keyblade up, and suddenly the sky darkens as the area turns to night. Cue winged badass swooping in to help you.

I would very much like a Treasure Planet world.

Just started playing Birth by Sleep for the first time and I'm loving it. All the KH3 news is getting me excited and this is the only game I've never played. The story is really well done. I've beaten Ventus's story and now I'm playing as Aqua.

It's a great game.. but 100%ing the Trophies is a nightmare. One I am repeating... again and again...

    Ahhh

I would stop and play Terra now and leave Aqua for Last

It's better for the final hours of the game.

^^I'm thinking of that actually. I'll start with Terra first then Ventus then Aqua for last which leads into the final story. looking forward to it whatever character I start with first.

I've heard that there was going to be a BBS volume 2 that never came to be too.

Yep, that's pretty much the order Nomura intended...though, I personally ended up playing Aqua second and Ven last. I didn't realize that I needed to complete the Final Episode before I could unlock all the Mirage Arena events.

I actually wonder if they're not going to save it until after III, as a sort of Epilogue to the Xehanort storyline.

I've been breezing through these games a bit too fast for their main stories, still need to level grind some more in KH to be able to beat Sephiroth and the Phantom on Proud.

UGH, 100%ing these games can be a real chore with the trophies and those boring/frustrating gummi missions in KH, KHII improved the gummi stuff so much I really wish they would have scrapped them for Final Mix in the HD version and re-worked them to be more like KHII Gummi Missions, even if that meant re-working the game engine and stuff. Same for Jiminy's Journal, because the original KH Journal is the absolute worst compared to all the others.

Xaldin killed me five damn times on Proud, I can't wait to see how much of a pain he'll be when I tackle Critical for the trophies on that front.

Kingdom Hearts II is a much more polished game compared to KH and I hate how bland Re:Chain of Memories is. I understand the Castle Oblivion idea and wasn't too offput about it beforehand, but when your story rooms on each floor don't bother telling any kind of cohesive story and you're stuck with cut scenes between floors for the bulk of the adventure it can be quite dull. I blame the subtle approach of the storytelling, honestly each floor is hinting at the power of memories, and judging from the stuff in KHII where people suddenly remember Sora after forgetting him I think it's safe to assume that with each floor he visits Namine causes the people in the real world to completely forget about him, or something and perhaps the dialogue is making subtle hints at this. Or maybe I'm just reaching. I mean originally it was a hand-held title. Re-making it for PS2 I think they could have stood to tweak the stories inside the floors better since they didn't have much tieing them to the more important main game story in-between floors.

And would it have killed them to add more to Riku's game now that they were getting the chance to upgrade it from a handheld? Him interacting with the likes of Hook, Oogie Boogie and others could have really fleshed out some of the stuff that happened to him off-screen during the events of the first game, but nooooo instead of giving us further backstory they just have you breeze through the floors and give some stupid little half-note in the D-Reports about how the characters appearing in the boss room are tied to the darkness in Riku's heart.

And I have to play the game three times over just to get completion trophies for Beginner, Standard and Proud... Why not make the trophies unlock for beating the game on all difficulty settings for playing it through on the highest one?

Getting to the Castle Oblivion and Organization XIII stuff in that game is a chore of tedium to the highest degree. And the drop rate on enemy cards is royally a pain too because no matter how hard you try you can't get all the Heartless Cards before facing Marluxia. Incidentally I do like how they upped the boss fight in the game, but was it just me or was that fight ten times easier than even the Ansem fights in KH?

I really hope Kingdom Hearts III can live up to all our expectations, considering how long we've waited for it, some of us might have gotten too much hope for what could be there.

I'd also love it if they addressed the question of why in-universe the denizens of Disney Castle call it Disney Castle, I mean Walt Disney isn't mentioned at all in the game's narrative so calling it Disney Castle doesn't entirely make sense from an in-universe perspective. Although judging by Sora's new Disney Ride Attacks we've seen so far I'm curious if they'll be visting a new world based on the Theme Park where he acquires these abilities.

I'd also love to see 100 Acre Wood retired as the mini-game world. Personally I'd prefer a new world like one based on Sofia the First, the nature of that series for younger viewers would lend itself well as a mini-game heavy world, and Sofia's amulet of avalor would make a swell tie-in to the mystic side of the Kingdom Hearts universe.

I kind of hope Port Royal will make a return, even if they have to borrow elements from Dead Man's Chest and At World's End for the story.

I've decided I hate playing as Aqua. I'm fully enjoying her story, but I don't like how weak she is. I didn't have to grind with Ventus, but there's been a few times I've had to spend doing it with her in order to take on certain areas. Ven seemed to level easily, but Aqua is taking forever. Thankfully, I'm at the end of her segment, so I can move on to Terra soon.

I LOVE the command board mini game in this. It is ridiculous amounts of fun.

I -hate- the command board mini-game. The AI cheats like all hell on it. Especially when you have to win the boards and had to go on specific ones to get commands.

And you'll love Aqua when you have to fight the Unknown... Mother trucking monky hugger that he is.

I actually really like Aqua's gameplay. She's the only character that doesn't need to face the enemy to block, she's quick-moving, and her shit defense means that the player actually has to Block, Dodge, use Magic, and generally step away from the "mash X until enemy dies, use Cure now and then" strategy. I like playing as her more than Terra, that's for sure.

Here's some advice: Buy a second Barrier command, max out a Curaga command, and meld them with an Abounding Crystal. You now have Renewal Barrier (heals you when you block) and EXP walker (you get experience points just by walking around).

You can stunlock Command Board opponents by casting Stun on them every turn. Also, you can just play the Command Board in the Mirage Arena and set opponents to one to make it easier.

Forget the Unknown; what about the last boss, who's fought with Aqua? To say nothing of the Extra Episode and the Mirage Arena...

Although, Aqua's not the worst character to fight the Unknown as. That would be Terra.
