not so sure about the minerva kit, since the vehicle mode would still need extensive tampo cleaning, and possibly a transparent parts swap to blue windshields and windows, or the vehicle mode just looks like Carzap still.

Are there any Reprolabels that could help Carzap look more Minerva-like?

The blue Nightbeat windows would help.

I'd rather just wait for an official Minerva. It's bound to happen eventually. Too much would be needed for both modes to look like Minerva..

Its nice to see some new pictures. I don't know what nonnef is up to because the pictures were kinda small. I wish I would have gotten Dreadwing, that add-on kit looks cool :)

I guess they are trying to "protect" the early adopters for buying at a higher price than people on board for the second run.

"Thanks for caring enough to spend so much, as a reward for your early support we're gonna sell it much cheaper to everyone else going forwards..."

I wouldn't mind, I got a figure at a price I agreed to, but I can see others being angry/disappointed with it.

Nonnef! This stuff looks great! Hard to tell from the presentation shots, but the shots of the chest pieces for Ironhide and Sunstreaker look good! :thumb  Ironhide looked fine until I saw your additions, but Hasbro Sunstreaker needs all kinds of help (which you provide). Still haven't picked any of those up, but the add-on kits might be a must have! :D  (and I need that chest piece for Menasor!)

What a great business practice! "Let's not piss off the 100 people who preordered! Keep prices HIGH. F*ck selling more units." :lol  I think they should bring prices down and get some "commoners" in on the products. I get this is an elitist hobby, but once in a while it's nice when prices don't have to collude to such high numbers. :(  Try getting a casual to give $85 Cynicus a shot?! :lolol

Interesting. The Sunstreaker cheat looks cool and it looks like part of the figure.

The Ironhide chest doesn't seem to fit, maybe because of the front of the truck being above the head.

The panel was every bit as entertaining as last years one, Sid and Nick are great hosts but sadly they hadn't been given anything new to show by anyone since TF Con. With the exceptions of Nonnefs parts and Sid offered some more information on their original property the Unrustable Bastards.
He talked about plans for a rival gang based on the look of the crazy 88s from Kill Bill and some Law Enforcement with a Judge Dredd feel that would be car based. He also talked about how they want to build a community around this property and they will be opening the fiction aspect up wide and give people the opportunity to submit their own stories, fan made characters etc.

The Q & A brought up one little gem though, Nicks Lugnut/Depth Charge design that was shown last year has been rescued and will be released by a new company, he said that they had already lined up a factory with plenty of experience in making toys so quality should not be an issue.

Just the Lugnut and Depth Charge versions or are they also doing the other remolds/redecos, like Skyquake and Straxus?

I believe both are Shapeways kits by Glaug. Thunderclash is a heavily converted Classic Voyager Optimus Prime, and Nautica is a Beast Hunters Deluxe Starscream conversion.

I hate to sound like a dope but I've never heard of Nonnef!

Are they finished, factory-mae products or Shapeways/3d-print/garage kits?

Full injection with metal molds. Factory finish.
Have all the mills and injectors right here in house so we don't need to worry about overseas productions. By handling the entire pipeline ourselves we can keep the costs lower for the customers.
