Saw the 2 Legions today, didn't know the Minicons were also out.

UM is a very poor redeco TBH. Strongarm has very poor paint apps on her face.

Of course the dinosaur is the most popular one..

Wow, it's been that slow in our collecting world eh? I guess everyone is gearing up for Star Wars on Force Friday?

I'm still picking up some preorders, but yeah it's been slower lately. At least my wallet can take a break.

    Hi guys,

So I just picked up the superion upgrade kit for combiner wars but I prefer the Hasbro head on him. Anyone want to buy the PE PC 03 superion head for 20 bucks? PM Me! Will meet in bugis.

I have the PE set too. I think they are great. My Mensor can now stand steadily by himself =)

Well technically with all the 3P pre-orders being fulfilled recently, my poor wallet hasn't had much of a break. Just way too much good stuff these days. but yeah, the general retail mass market around here is pretty boring so much so I don't bother to walk Metro or TRU much anymore.

Hmm vintage TFs, hard to say actually for vintage TFs specifically. Best is to try to hit the general toy places.
    1) Mongkok Sino Centre and CTMA behind it. In Sino Centre (via the lifts only) there is Hobby Base on the 3rd floor, totally dedicated to transformers. And if you are so interested Secret Base the Hot Toys super showroom is in Sino Centre as well, take the elevator up to the 20th floor.

    2) Action Robo between MongKok and Yau Ma Tei. Find their facebook for their exact address. Lots of good transformers stuff overall but they are a solo show.

    3) Yau Ma Tei Inn's point. Lots of toys here, 2 stories full of little shops.

    Hope that helps.

So last one for the fellow boardies here. Anyone buy that Transformers RID/Adventure TAV-21 Optimus Prime? I've seen it and it looks hell plasticky but has anyon bought it yet? Is it a fun toy? I'm looking for some opinions before i commit since it isn't exactly cheap at $80.

And, anyone going to Force Friday?

I bought it for my son. And I'm disappointed despite knowing its flaw through reviews before purchase.

    1. The weapons are made of soft plastic and several of them are all bent out of box.

    2. In truck mode, the 2 front wheels on the trailer just wouldn't clip on, and the wheels are attached on a soft plastic panel. As a result, the four wheels on the trailer just would not line up in a straight line and that really bothers me.

If you really like the trailer gimmick (which is why my son wanted it), then I suggest you wait for TAV33 which have remolded parts (hopefully will solve the wheels problem). At the very least, the new sword that comes with TAV33 looks much better.

In conclusion, it is really a toy aimed at kids who do not care about the issues I raised above.

Falcon Hangar has released the price for STGCC exclusive Devastator and the Combiner Hunters fembots set (they are exactly the same as the SDCC versions). Devastator - $320; Fembots - $130.

Think will skip, too pricey IMO.

View the SDCC Devastator in person at TFH. They have a sample there right now.
