Im still finishing wave 3 but nice to see these guys appearing at retail. Of these Prowl, Mirage and Sunstreaker look the best with Ironhide being the weakest although a cool altmode.

    Bring them on.

    exactly how i feel.

    they couldn't even get creative.

over two years FULL of repaints and remolds, hasbro must be rolling in it.

jokes on us i guess. it's a shame, the jokes on us with the toys and the movies. the best i can say is that at least we're not GI Joe.

I think 2 actually. 1 came and went by pretty well, wave 2 came, then 3 came and were sighted twice if anything, then it seems like back to wave 2, although 4 has hit here so once those are gone, I wonder what the restock will be after that. Voyagers it seems like wave 1, 2 and 3 have come and gone and then back to wave 1 it again. So many regular OP's and Silverbolts...
I'm surprised they haven't been listing waves 2 and 3 online to purchase.....

The only CW shit I've seen around is wave 2 stuff that doesn't move anymore at TRU. I keep going to Targets and Walmarts around my area and they never seem to stock anything anymore. Kmart seems to have eliminated their Transformers section for all intents and purposes.

I don't have any interest in any of these guys but it's looking like another wave you're just gonna have to get online if you want 'em.

Also found in the Bay Area, Ca...

Comparisons... CW doesn't compare, but at least Prowl looks good in bot mode, Sunstreaker in vehicle mode, and Mirage... Well...

You posted this and then the very next day pretty much every Target in our area got them in. You must have magic powers :lol

Prowl is an improvement in every way on the old Universe mold. Hell, just by the virtue of not having sticky paint issues it's already an improvement. Look at the picture a few posts above mine, those gaps on the sides of his torso are an eyesore, it looks like entire pieces of the figure are missing. Having them both in-hand and putting them side-by-side, the Universe one doesn't really compare to the new one. Prowl was a much needed re-do.

In a lot of ways Ironhide is an improvement as well, because the Universe mold doesn't have the right face color and the mold in general is a piece of crap (perpetually looking down, for one). The CW one may have its own issues, but at least it doesn't have a blue face and screws showing everywhere.

Hahaha, I know right? Though truth be told I feel that once these sell out we'll just end up going back to having nothin' on our shelves for a long while. Unless Wave 4 is the new Wave 2 and it'll just warm the shelves of TRU.

These guys will be combined for me so not really an issue about how they look individually. I do have Universe Ironhide, Sunstreaker and Prowl and I think Prowl is an improvement on himself as is Ironhide. Sunstreaker is not but hey he will be a limb so its not an issue.

We need a new Sideswipe though.

Stumbled upon a fresh case of Wave 4 at Target, which went nicely with the Rodimus that came from Amazon last week.

I don't have Battle Core, and while I will likely end up getting him at some point (hopefully he gets some good sale prices)...I have to say that the Autobot limbs (even Rodimus) look absolutely amazing with the first CW Prime.

Rodimus's red blends well with his chest, and while this is my preference for limb arrangement (paying homage to Energon Prime) I can see tons of options that'd work and still look really good.

I'm assuming most people by now will have Menasor, but if you don't...I'd say these are the Stunticons to get. The colors really pop in person. The blues, reds, and yellows are bright and there are some nice details in bot/limb mode.

So are all of these Target sightings? Hopefully this means they'll be making their way to NY soon.

Here in MN we went from armies of Stunticons with a sprinkling of Protectobots to Maximus limbs as far as the eye can see. And yes, these are all at Targets...which in this area have been resetting with the new non-gendered toy department layout.

And (at least in the Twin Cities region) we're still waiting for Wave 3 Voyagers to get wide release.

I'm on a business trip in Aberdeen, SD and walked across the street to pick up some medicine and decided to swing by the toy department at Target. Sure enough deluxe wave 4. Wish I had room in my carry on.

Found them this afternoon at a Target in SE Michigan, not far from the original sighting. Picked up Ironhide and Prowl, really like them both. Left Sunny and Mirage (meh) on the pegs.

Depending on how much gas you typically spend when hunting figures in the wild, you could opt to ship them back to meet you when you get home.

Depending on how much room he has (and what condition he needs/wants them in) he could open all four limbs and throw away the bubble. The comics/cards should lay flat and take up almost no space (but could get beat up) and the figures/accessories would probably squeeze in if you convert them to vehicle mode.

I have to agree with you there. Prowl and Ironhide are most definitely improvement over their Universe toys.
