Hopefully he'll pop over for more details, but Alex Milne has posted pictures on twitter of a limited run sketchbook he's been working on. Currently being printed so fingers crossed he'll have copies ready for Auto Assembly.

He hasn't confirmed yet whether it's going to be available to purchase online [edit: apparently not for now].

It looks more substantial than the IDW released one and includes concept covers/pages and other unreleased art.

    EDIT: Facebook update

"Just wanted to show off the printer proof of my sketchbook that I'm having made for this year :)  I did one a long time ago, but that was complete crap, so I guess we can say this is my first sketchbook :D  Very exciting :)

I have so much work I've done over the years that I wasn't sure what I wanted in the book. In the end I went with Transformers since that's what I'm best known for right now. I will be making other sketchbooks in the future, so I can have other types of work in those :)

The size for this monster is 8.5 x 8.5 and contains 48 pages. 24 Colour, 24 B&W + an insert page for a possible sketch + cover
It took me a long time to piece this together, and I'm pretty happy with the end results right now :)

I can't wait to see all of them printed.

At the moment, I'm just doing a very limited run. About 50 copies. I will probably end up making more later, but for right now this is what I can do :)

    Enjoy"

I'd LOVE a copy of this sketchbook!

How can we contact him to show our support for this? I won't be able to attend any conventions, either.

Hopefully there'll be more copies printed than the current plan of fifty. It looks AWESOME! Covers, prints, unused concepts, and you gotta love that past-and-(then)present Megatron pair from Chaos Theory.

On one hand, I wish he'd collect money via Kickstarter or whatever to make more, and on the other hand drawing a book is time consuming.

Are you limiting them to one per person at AA at least to give us a fighting chance? :D

Alex, If you had enough "pre-orders", would you be able to make more? I'd give you my money now even if it took a couple months to get it if it helps make that happen. I love your work, and will be keeping an eye out for official word when you do end up selling it.

How much it is to print them and charge an extra percentage on that. No doubt the sketch books will sell out.
