Minor/Repaint: Combining Classics: CW/Classics Ultra Magnus

    I wanted an Ultra Magnus with a little white Optimus, and dangit, I will have one!

    First off, several parts need to be removable/removed leading to minor parts forming (unless you count them as weapons, wink!)

    Secondly, Hasbro QC screwed me over and my CW UM has no wheels on his trailer section.

    I will answer any other questions.

    Wait. He had no wheels on the trailer? Now that is sad.

    Yep, came out of a sealed box with only cab wheels, but i bought him at a convention cheaper than retail would have been, so it's not too annoying, but I need a new one or at least wheels soon.

    Since your not using the cab, can't you just pop the wheels of it and put them on the trailer?

    Tried that, they are slightly too small, like a millimeter or two.

    I thought this what Fans Project City Commander did..
    I've owned mine for years and its still the best Magnus I have..

    I got CW UM for 39, a rotary tool for 10, and exacto knife for 3, a screwdriver for 1, superglue for 2, 2 rare earth magnets for 3, and Classics UM for 20, even including the time and effort, I'd say this is cheaper at around 80, and a more G1 accurate trailer, since I don't have much money and most of this is reusable.

    he i know some1 aswell that didnt get wheels on the trailes :O
    secondly i had this 1 planned since i first saw pics...
    just need to wait until i get my takara in hand :)

    Nice mod, it's definitely better than having the very small stock cab in there. I'd be curious to see how well a Deluxe Prime like the Classics one that was released a while ago would fit.

    As I see this Magnus is not Magnus at all.. Its a armor shell for Minimus Ambus. I never saw this as the True Ultra Magnus...but a completely different character pretending to be Ultra Magnus.. But I do like how you integrated the Classics Magnus with this Trailer..
