Dumb question... Will they have that new segmented cable/wire for sale separately? By past fans toys exp I would say definitely, but just curious if anything official was mentioned.

If I'm not mistaken, Toy Dojo still had the shackwave in stock for $250 less than a year ago

 

They did, but this was just some leftover stock that they found randomly. That's where I bought mine from. I believe they're out now. Haven't heard any word on a reissue, I'm afraid.

 

I preordered the T version hoping it will be the same shade of purple as, well, the G1 toy. I'll be cheesed if it's darker, and super-cheesed if the "regular" reissue sells out before I know that.

Hey, so I picked up a shackwave and I am missing the screws for the rotating forearm (8 screws in total, 4 small, 2 larger). Does anyone want to sell the set of screws if they are not using the rotating arm option?

Is there a thread for the KO version of this figure? I did a search and didn't see anything so I assume either the KO was cancelled due to the reissue of this figure or it was mistaken for the other 3rd party Shockwave.

I know this figure is MP sized, but would someone be willing to post pictures of him next to Hegemon and if possible, the iGear Raptor squad as well?

I would try bringing the arm part to a hardware store, and showing it to someone who works there. There's a chance that (s)he'll be knowledgable enough to find the correct screws in the store. Even better if you can get the screws in black, since the default silver screws are a bit unsightly. (The purple qw had silver screws, i don't know about the quakeshack)

 

Anyone know how to cancel a pre-order at Toy Dojo? I've put considerable thought into the matter and owning a toy is not as important to me as not supporting what I perceive to be unethical business practices, both at the supplier and retail levels. I have both paid and unpaid pre-orders with them currently, but I don't see an option on their order status pages to cancel, regardless of payment status.

 

email them and they'll take care of you but if this is due to that other Shockwave toy and the way that FT are handling its release, gotta say, there are two sides to every story and we don't know what the reality of the situation truly is.

I gave up only surrendering my money to responsible, ethical entities the second I realized I needed to pay the government taxes!

I don't know what the truth is but I'm not giving up on finally getting my Quakewave after all this time.

I do enjoy them, and also enjoy options, choice, and directing my money where I want it to go. Businesses that don't offer the same do not get my money.

 

anyone happen to know if they'll be including the swivel forearms with all the reissue variants?

I'd love to have a Translucent purple swivel forearm option, so I can put the tube on the proper side of my Translucent Purple Quakewave.  

it's also too bad that they couldn't make a Translucent dark grey tube instead of solid block for it..

Hey guys I just saw the Reissue listed on BBTS so obviously I immediately came here to see which one people think will be better. The original or the "Toon". And I saw some comments about a controversy between this and another release? Can somebody please fill me in? I did a quick search and only found a Quakeblast which looks interesting. Is there anything else I should know?
