Legion Class Ultra Magnus "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com", might actually be mis-matched with a different toy as happened before. I think Amazon at one point listed Beast Hunters Legion Unicron Megatron as "in stock", and people received Voyager Sharkticon Megatron instead? Wonder if this gets people Combiner Wars Leader Ultra Magnus. Patrol Mode Strongarm "Currently unavailable." After the original mold that was the PRID Magnus and the extensive retool that was the Beast Hunters version. This just screams lazy to me. PASS. Strongarm is neat...it homages the 2006 Classics minicon.
I kinda dig these. Magnus is too white (odd but I mean, either give it the proper white, the nice looking arctic white and blue like Classics, or just make him mostly blue). Still always up for a mini Optirepaont !agnus and Strongarm looks good too. Love that cop black and white.
It's hard to say. I was probably alone in feeling this way but when I saw TF Prime Hotshot I was hoping he'd be in the show and he wasn't. Same was true of the majority of the predacins and we only got one until what seems like an afterthought when they redecoe two and shoved them into Preds Rising.
Not everything has to be an extensive retool. Straight repaints continue to exist alongside them too.
Windblade, Drift and Thunderhoof are presumably wave 6, yes. Night Ops Bumblebee and Alpine Strike Sideswipe from wave 4 exist both with unchanged and updated package art:
