I am excited about the upcoming g1 combiners, however I cannot get myself to buy the battlecore prime so I am thinking of maybe customizing my hot spot into a magnus/ultra magnus. Here is my first digibash attempt, please forgive the fact that i have tried drawing Ultra magnus' antenna to no avail (help!). What does everyone think? Not too happy with this rendering, but gives me an idea of what the vehicle mode might look like... Here he is with a magnus head...finally figured that out on gimp
Sorry for the constructive criticism, but wrong forum for digibashes, and I would suggest using the printscreen button and/or saving the pic to paint, then uploading. It does look good though, keep it going!
Works better than I thought it would, blue Groove definitely makes me think of his chest design. What if you did the black railing either side of the torso white to be reminiscent of his shoulder towers.
I believe it is just a mockup for paint scheme purposes . I'd like to see it but probably a pm prime a little more
Thanks guys....ill to my best to get a magnus head in there somehow. Also its going to be weird but a hotspot as a white magnus is very doable since most of UMs colored bits are from the other side of the legs and from the ladder assembly. Ill do hotspot in a bit.
I think this is an awesome idea and honestly you could do just a straight repaint and make his normal robot mode white magnus and his combined mode ultra magnus and keep the defensor head. Although itd be kinda neat if you could get a combiner wars ultra magnus chest plate and cut it up to go on defensors chest.
