I bought the KO Menasor several years ago and I had a problem with Breakdown. I was hard trying to transform it and I was afraid I might break it. So I put it back in the box and never tried to test the rest of them to see if they work alright.

Pic of the back? I just look at the blue line in the decoder. If you can see it easily then it's a KO.

That's a great looking ravage rumble! Crongrats. Looks to be a legit one using MightGaines' guide. Card looks great, bubbles emmmmmm.

I have a few of these G1 KOs, wanted to share my thoughts.

    Superion:
-Silverbolt is quite floppy, one leg is much tighter than the other and the one foot refuses to come out. The pins used have already started getting rusty.
-Skydive's legs keep collapsing inward on themselves, the only one who does so. Also when I insert him into Superion his head/connector can move., inadvertently giving Superion a knee rotation. I'm concerned it'll cause the head to snap off even though it's impossible to rotate the head when separate.
-Fireflight and Air Raid are both way too tight.
-Slingshot has the best tolerances but as Superion's arm he is incredibly loose and falls out easily.
-The stickers are absolutely terrible. Half of them fell off within a day.
-Superion is decent apart from the fact that he falls over easily due to Silverbolts weak leg joints. And the aforementioned Slingshot falling out.
Overall, it's quite poor but I'm still satisfied with this as my G1 Superion.

    Defensor:
-Hotspot has sticker issues, and his weapons won't stay in their allocated holes apart from the robot hands. The add on bits don't stay on either. Some joints are also too tight.
-First Aid has minor paint chips in his face but is okay otherwise.
-Blades has weak pins, one rotor has fallen out and the other is extremely loose.
-Groove's right handlebar broke off. Some of the metal used isn't of very good quality.
-Streetwise has a floppy chestplate panel but if fine otherwise.
-Most of the stickers are Ok with this set but not great, especially on Hotspot.
-Defensor is quite good with the exception of the chest panels constantly falling out.
Overall quite good actually. Would recommend this one.

    Optimus Prime(ohhboy):
-Stickers are pathetic. Almost none of them stay on.
-Transformation doesn't go smoothly...the leg gears have caused some plastic to get scraped off.
    -Hands don't stay in.
    -Head comes off(!)quite easily.
-Joints are extremely loose, exp.the elbows which are far too tight.
-Trailer doesn't open smoothly, force is needed.
-Combat deck robot is loose; doesn't stay upright.
    -Roller can launch, but barely.
    -Paint chips off easily.
-Trailer stripes are self applied stickers, unlike the original. For whatever reason.
-Stickers fall off very easily(Did I mention that?)
-Metal content is there but it doesn't feel as solid as it shld be.
Overall quite a poor release; comparing it to by Ultra Magnus the lack of quality is very noticeable.

    Shockwave:
    -Legs can be quite tight.
-Gold chrome on eye scratched off.
-Rubber hose cracked, exposing wire underneath.
-Right foot stuck, cannot go all the way when transforming into gun.
-Comes with the all - Decepticon insignia sticker sheet that came with Japanese G1 reissues, for whatever reason. (Even has the Transformers logo in Japanese-.-)
Overall this is by far the best release both in terms of looking like the original and general quality. Highly recommended for anyone who can't get a vintage G1 Shockwave.

What other KOs are recommended? I'm eyeing Menasor and Mirage, but who else is worth it?

G1 Silverbolt peeps, the US army decals on the wings are the giveaway?
I have 2 of these now, such nice pieces, die cast parts and good locking transformation, particularly the legs, but for floppy arms and one missing his tail, where would the Hasbro marking be on the legit model...which I might have in storage somewhere?
    thanks all,

Correct, no official Silverbolt had any US army markings. The copyright would be the underside of the left wing.

I have just got Mirage, generally the figure seems ok but a piece of the chrome on the feet/rear spoiler has slightly lifted and looks like it would peel off with the slightest provocation. Haven't applied stickers, heard they are not worth applying as will just peel right off so will probably look to reprolabels in time...

    Ebay:
There is a new KO of Bumblejumper being sold on ebay, on a red CJ card with the standard center-aligned rack hole as just one of what I am sure are many tells. But I don't believe we've seen a BJ KO until now.

    Ebay:
I'd just add, a general rule on eBay: If it's "MISB" and only 75$, it's a KO.

Those are KOs. Any sets of reissues that cheap will always be KOs. The real ones would be $300-$500 each

I just noticed this too within the last two or three weeks. I wonder what the quality is like. I would love to see a review and comparison with a legit Soundwave. It's a real shame this one finally got KO'd. I was happy to not worry about KOs when shopping on Ebay.

In terms of Dinobots - the original Dinobot molds were allegedly lost or broken, so pretty much any reissue is guaranteed to be a fake. Especially MISB.

So to avoid accidentally buying MP KOs, I just gotta look out for "Takasa Tony" on the box? I remember MP KO boxes being almost indistinguishable from the real thing because it still said Takara Tomy.
