so, we all know that rescue bots is part of the prime show continuity, but it hasnt quite matched the passage of time with the prime series. I think there should be a time skip between seasons 3 & 4. season 3 would have been during the prime show, now season 4 starts Now while the RID series is happening. the rescue bots would have just been hanging out on griffin rock, and either they were offered to return to cybertron and chose to stay or have no idea that optimus died and were left forgotten on earth. so basically RID is happening and now the rescue bots have to deal with the loos decepticons who come to the island. lets face it, who hasnt wanted to see a decepticon in rescue bots. anyway, i think it would create a nice new twist for the show and create some very nice cross-show continuity. what are other thoughts?
Well... Spoiler Optimus is back now. What I say is this, in Darkness Rising, the Autobots have been on Earth for three years before Darkness Rising. So S1 S2 and S3 could have procured during this period and S4 starts during S1 of Prime. Hence Bumblebee was he first on Earth do he has to know the RBs
I believe Rescue Bots does not exist in the Aligned Continuity. There's really no way it can fit in with Prime.
TFP season 2, episode 8, Optimus comes back to base with an energon shard and says he was underground and out of communication. In RB season 2, episodes 10 and 11, Optimus left to go dig up energon with the RBs underground. Optimus hunts down a relic in season 2, episode 21 in RB. This would place that episode probably sometime after season 2, episode 11 of TFP. Rescue Bots lags behind TFP. During season 1, they had a chart showing where RB fit in with the TFP show. Although I don't know what that would look like now. It would be nice to see the Rescue Bots updated timeline wise, but I think such a huge time skip for a new season might be out of place for the show.
Right, and if they hold true to what they originally promised, no Decepticons in Rescue Bots, then the two shows probably won't have a cross over... tho Heatwave would love it. Who knows tho, as RB adds more bots, some who have a different background and history....not necessarily RESCUE ONLY bots, they could at least, let Heatwave leave the island and finally kick some Con butt. I could see High Tide and (a big maybe here) Blurr wanting some action of that kind too. At least Blurr could race Sideswipe.
