You weren't forced to do anything. Save it.

Damn, all this bitching and whining over a predetermined plan that we knew months in advance before it happened.

    For you, perhaps.

Again, you're not going to like everything Hasbro makes or does. Neither am I. You can feel free to pick and choose what to pick up.

Uhhhh yeah? I just don't care that they're remolds and I feel that it's justified if they can't even do Abominus. Personally I'm happy with what we got since they remolded the boobs, remolded the arms, got 5/6 new heads, got new ankle tilting feet, better looking hands, and a unique combining weapon. And even if they were new mold vehicles I doubt they would be much more interesting than the cars, jets, helicopters, etc we already have due to the modular aspect of this line. But whatever floats your boat bruh!

    Still relevant tho (;

At SDCC it said SRP $100. So I doubt it'll be much more than your standard combiner. For Canadians there are options if you don't want to pay customs or expensive shipping. Try A3U or Automaton!

i wonder what would happen if Takara somehow managed to have an entirely new molds for their version of the Victorion team who are also true to their comic book designs, let's see how people react to that :lol

    ??

    Such vitriol over a toy.

What stood out was when they said Victorion was designed as a joint project between Hasbro and Takara. So it'll be interesting to see what happens if/when she is introduced in Unite Warriors. The new hands/feet, as well as the combining weapons seem like very TT-ish introductions...but I wonder if they would do anything different with the paint since so far they've skewed towards the G1 cartoon and she has no origins in it.

I also do wonder if between now and release we won't see some adjusted paint apps. Being a boxed set will have it's advantages, as they can build some of that into the cost while still keeping it lower than the cost of buying the individual components (don't have to ship cases full of individually packaged figures to stores).

I'm also going to keep my fingers crossed this doesn't turn into another Quickslinger/Brake-Neck event...where if you aren't online in the hours after this goes live they'll sell out and that's that. Windblade was near impossible to find in-stores (at least here in MN) but did have stock at HTS up until the first few CW waves started showing up.

I would also assume that, given her year-in-advance annoucement, that both the Hasbro and TT versions (if such a difference exists) would be released around the same time.

I can't recall exactly, but I thought it said 2nd Quarter or "early 2016" or something that implied late spring.

Paging Dr. Grungewerx, paging Dr. Grungewerx,

Your pen is needed on the TFW Fan art board.

    Paging Dr. Grungewerx,,,

(Also, I'd love to see ShibaMura Prime take a stab at this too, they still look like generics to me. If they're going to be fembots, can we at least have ONE Cheesecake artist take a stab at them?)

Oh. You're still here. I thought you given up, but nope. Is there anything you won't complain about?

Back on topic, I think these seem awesome, and I do enjoy that Pyra Magna has a more bulky design, but still keeping some fembot aspects in the design.

I put the picture of Pyra Magna in Google image search and asked it to find visually similar images. It gave me a picture of am robot harlequin off a Deviant Art page as the closest thing it could find...

I'm not a fan of G2, I just like a few of the new Classics-era toys.

Neato. Looking at these designs makes me think the toys could do with silver combiner pegs to break up their torso's a bit more.

The only thing that would make these more awesome for me would have been if they could have pulled off cybertronian alts from these...that would have given some variation between them and there mold mates...also given room to make better fem like proportions for a couple, not all of them...

This was kinda designed by committee, and it shows. Made up of piecemeal elements thrown together and an eye-burning colour scheme, I'm truly thankful that the other 99% of Transformers are designed by professionals!

On the plus side: Fembots, because fembots are cool. The new heads are great, and considering that we voted for two helicopters, they made a virtue of it by making them mirror-image twins, Tomax/Xamot style. The new hands and feet look great, and that combining sword is crazy good.

On the minus side: the colour. I'm hoping that the guy upthread was right about these looking better in-hand, because certainly on my screen these are horrible-garish. Just to reiterate what others have said, a third colour would really help here. Either that or include some free sunglasses in the pack!

Still gonna buy these ladies, as I'm a Combiner Wars addict, even though I'm not totally sold on the fan poll thing.
