Down_shift coordinates stuff for TFCon... The Chrome version was on display at the convention. So, yes, he has a copy.

Received my replacement parts from Giga (via robotkingdom).

Now my hips are no longer loose and i am very happy with the figure.

Now if only they will make Sludge, i need an over-sized Sludge now. Why is the pace of release so slow?

They should make a Sludge or Grimlock, both are in need of an over-sized variant. Don't make the others until this two is done first.

 

Wasn't there a member that received their replacement parts over a month ago? He never replied to how the parts were holding up.

 

It's only been a few days for me, but the looseness is no longer there.

Also, i must add that Alice from Robotkingdom (their customer service rep) had been amazing the few times i dealt with her, they've got a good process patted down.

I've had positive experience with bbts (fast) and actionrobo (which took a while, but at least addressed the issue). But Alice is both fast in addressing the issue(s) and communication.

 

Not sure if Wheeljack's head exploded or if he's gone Super Saiyan.

 

This is Wheeljack we're talking about here. He was probably testing out a new fire-******ant foam.

 

I really like the effect parts that come with the metallic version of Guttur but I am going for the chromed version because the colours appeal more to me as they seem closer to the G1 toy appearance, which I prefer.

 

I just received my replacement part through CP out of no where. Granted it was just the sword but it was a nice surprise.

Now I just hope they skip to Their not-Swoop and all will be right in my world. Oh that and if über FT fans would stop pissing all over other companies it's realing getting old.

 

Fair enough, all I know is that all the back and forth has turned me off at this point. Back on topic though I really dig Gutter, he has some minor tolerance issues but all in all he's very satisfying. His beefiness alone makes me love him and scale wise I can't relate to those whom condem him. I think he's perfect height for MP status the only thing that makes tinge about fitting is the slight stylization of the character but as a non MP that's what I love about him.

Love him or hate him people should really get a chance to handle him at least because as a first offering from a unknown company he's impressive. I feel as though I got my money's worth especially compared to all the official products I've bought in the past, only to turn around and sell them because they just felt like someone was giving me less than what I paid for.

 

Has anyone else received replacement parts? I thought GP was the one that would be sending out the parts. I am still waiting for the metallic parts and the hip...

 

It depends if you contacted your retailer or you contacted them directly. It sort of make sense to me that they're taking care of the retailers first to get to more people sooner. Send out a few big shipments so the retailers can send them out rather than individually pack and send out hundreds of parts to individuals.

 

I got mine from TCP and they told me to contact GP to get my issues resolved. I was asking because everytime I ask GP on facebook, I get the same answer " It shouldn't be long now" and that's been how many months now... Apollyon, that came out after Guttur, has already replacement parts shipped out.

 

Yeah, it is a little long, but I guess the difference between the 2 is X-Transbots is KFC and they have their own factory I think, so they can make the stuff that they need right away. GP is brand new so there's no way they own a factory, they had to go and figure out the problem and then get into a factory's schedule to pump out the parts.
